Because your tattoo artists weren’t trying to find their cocaine addiction and hookers 😂 I was thinking a few hundred dollars are all more expensive artists who are in higher demand charge. Why did she give him so much down?
Can't put it on a card means 1) I don't want to pay the card fee %, and sometimes 2) I'm going to scam you and I don't want you to be able to call and dispute the charge. Had it happen before, unfortunately. If you can't handle the card fee %, then you are charging too little. There are always costs of doing business you have to accept.
Or he can get scammed by people using their card or a stolen card. If a shop don't accept cash and happy to give a receipt/agreement then l will go somewhere else ....
A deposit is exactly that … a part payment that is non refundable, to secure a date of service, to pre-buy materials and commission provisional work (taking a brief/meeting, planning, logistics, sketches, drawings). She cancelled the project. The issue is any contracts should be put in writing
Wow. I have a ton of tattoos. I've NEVER paid a deposit that high. I've paid $150 by an artist that won a season of ink masters. That tattoo wouldn't cost $2000 anyway. On top of that, adding in the drugs and hookers comment.....that guy....wow
Yeah exactly, it’s usually 100-200 dollars but it goes towards the tattoo. If you cancel then they pocket the deposit and are very clear about it. But i have never heard of a deposit over that lol.
I was wondering after seeing some of the comments....how much are tattoos these days. I haven't gotten one in a little over 20 years and $2000 for a small tattoo seems a bit exorbitant
Y’all have to be very careful when y’all choose tattoo artist! Once you give them that cash,…… you are in their mercy! In a way, they’re hustlers! And they’re horrible at business! any tattoo artist that says, I’m gonna create your tattoo on the SAME DAY…is a horrible tattoo artist! I got a whole sleeve done for $1700!! And I get compliments every day almost!! and me and my tattoo artist worked together throwing ideas at one another for two straight weeks to figure out what was gonna be put on my arm! You always wanna stay away from tattoo artist that’s basically just gonna think something up at last minute, and then just slap it on your body! And if any tattoo artist charges you over $3000 for any tattoo…you’re being hustled! I know people who have gotten amazing sleeves as low as $1500 before! Always know that you don’t have to go to the first tattoo artist that you come across! It took me two years to find a tattoo artist that I was satisfied with! Like I said, not only did I get a great price, but I had amazing work done as well!
I agree for a full arm piece. I'm a bit odd cause if my artists asks for a deposit I always give half minimum. Like for a raptor tattoo I got around my ankle it was $550 and I put down $250 as a deposit and gave another $200 in a tip. I'm a heavy tipper, something my hubby doesn't agree with but I want my artists happy too. It's something I won't compromise on either.
Hate to be stick in the mud here but when the tattoo artist said he used the $2000 on cocaine and hookers (and he meant it), the judges as attorneys and officers of the court had a responsibility to report him to local and/or federal law enforcement. Hope they did so.
A tattoo would not even show, on her, this is hilarious, you would not be able to see it, and if you could see something, I would just look like dirty skin, this is HILARIOUS 😂😂😂
That was the absolute first thing I thought when this episode began and I’m African American. I don’t understand when we African Americans (esp those w darker skin) get these tattoos which you can hardly read or distinguish anyway. We have beautiful age defying skin, why tarnish it.
Cocaine & hookers….. woooow 🤣 at least he’s being honest??
I guess u never saw the original videos that comment 😂
2000$ deposit??? Never heard of that. I have 27 tattoos. Never given more than 100$ deposit
That's what i was thinking. Like who charges that much for a deposit
I'm shocked!!!!
Because your tattoo artists weren’t trying to find their cocaine addiction and hookers 😂 I was thinking a few hundred dollars are all more expensive artists who are in higher demand charge. Why did she give him so much down?
@@UsagiRebL😂😂😂
Same I have 18 and most I’ve paid is 120
In all my years of watching court tv....this guy has to be the most honest defendant yet! Cocaine & Hookers Baby!!!
I love tattoos, but the face tattoos creep me out. The hairstyle made it worse

This! Entirely this!
Or he can get scammed by people using their card or a stolen card. If a shop don't accept cash and happy to give a receipt/agreement then l will go somewhere else ....
Well he may be wild but At least he was honest, his gave him the truth “cocaine and hookers” 😂😂😂😂

The “cocaine and hookers” line was used by someone years ago during a local news segment you can easily find it on TH-cam🙄
Exactly
Yeah where you think I found it at 😂

Why does the judge sound like Trump 😂
2000?? Life’s too short , cheaper artist are just as good if you do your research and observe their artwork
Just think what this guy’s face is going to look like in 20 years. On the other hand, how could it look any worse?
You have two options with employment when you have facial tattoos. 1. Tattoo Artist. 2. Mopping floors in prison.
He’s a scammer. A sleeve doesn’t cost $2000. I have tattoos.
The waiver is for the tattoo not for you to keep money you didn’t earn.
Buyers remorse?… 2k deposit for a 3-4 hundred bucks tattoo?… why?.. why would she or anyone pay that?
C & H will be my new moto 😂😂😂😂😂
Seens like there's more to this story that ain't being revealed
Tattoo artist side is HONEST.
Not hating, but is the work on his face just scribble scrabble??
2k deposit!! I have 2 sleeves never been asked for 2k deposit
$2,000???
Why would you let this state do anything to you, let alone tatts
That tattoo is worth $100 at most
Nope it depends on the work and size. More than $100, unless it is a small one.
@trekgirl65 the tattoo on her chest Def ain't a 300 tattoo you on some shit if you pay anything more then 150 for that
Y’all have to be very careful when y’all choose tattoo artist! Once you give them that cash,…… you are in their mercy! In a way, they’re hustlers! A deposit of $2000 for her entire arm piece doesn't seem that crazy
Yeah it does lol
for a deposit yeah it does lmao
I agree for a full arm piece. I'm a bit odd cause if my artists asks for a deposit I always give half minimum. Depending on the details it can be up to 800$ but not no damn 2k
Lord help I would never
She obviously doesn’t know tattoo artist charge in a tattoo shop… they charge a lot
But $2000 deposit is a rip off. I never paid more $150
Hate to be stick in the mud here but when the tattoo artist said he used the $2000 on cocaine and hookers (and he meant it), the judges as attorneys and officers of the court had a responsibility to report him to local and/or federal law enforcement. Hope they did so.
It’s a line someone else used on TV. He was trying to be funny/edgy.
What is with these tattoo artists that charge all this money like their painting cathedrals?
Go find a real artistic tattoo person and they will tell you how they make money doing tattoos, the hours for a tattoo and the labor.
This is crazy $2000 girl do your research
Judge Michael is not very good at math.
Is not him anyway. Time to end this pony show. People are hurting.
who the hell goes around with tatts on there face
…is she great at doing stuff?
Way too much for a tattoo.
Well face tattoos should have told you something😂😂😂😂
A tattoo would not even show, on her, this is hilarious, you would not be able to see it, and if you could see something, I would just look like dirty skin, this is HILARIOUS 😂😂😂
such a weird comment to make
That was the absolute first thing I thought when this episode began and I’m African American. I don’t understand when we African Americans (esp those w darker skin) get these tattoos which you can hardly read or distinguish anyway. We have beautiful age defying skin, why tarnish it.
Cringing at the defendant trying to be funny here
Cringing at the fact that the plaintiff was going to pay $2000 for a tattoo that shoulda only costed $200….
Yep, that “cocaine & hookers” comment is a reply a famous boxer said years ago.
A tattoo for some one special is fine the rest is stupid.
