I’m obvs excited that you’re getting married blah blah but really I can’t wait to see a photo of the final bookshelf seating plan! The guests can take their books home & put them on their bookshelves as a physical memory of your wedding! 💜
After attending many weddings over the years (including my own), I'd recommend either sticking with one pair of shoes, or selecting a low heel if you plan to change into flats. Your dress will be hemmed with your heels on. If you switch to flats for the reception you, Adam, and all your guests will be stepping all over the hem of your dress since it will suddenly be too long. Try to minimize the height difference between your shoes.
I had custom embroidered converse made for my wedding day! I found a lovely seller on Etsy who let me pick all of the specific colors of thread, and then she embroidered my wedding flowers on the shoes, as well as the wedding date on the heel. They turned out so beautiful and I was so happy to just be comfortable on the day of. It also gave me yet another thing to show off on the wedding day, as I kept hiking up my skirt and being like "and look at my shoes, aren't they so cool?!"
I had a irregular choice pair of shoes for the wedding. I then changed before photos into a pair of converse. For the rest of the day and by the evening I was in socks. Was brilliant
My wedding shoes were gold Air & Grace block heels and they are sooooo comfy. I can run around carrying my toddler in them. I bought converse to change into in the evening but never needed to change, and I love that they are not too bridal so I have worn them lots since the wedding. Hope you're enjoying this phase of wedding planning! ❤
I would add string around the books to give the spine details - and make sure to use white primer first to cover the text on the cardboard - otherwise you’ll burn though the paint colour you want 🥰🥰
Yay a happy Monday with Lucy 😊! perfect for snuggling with the snow falling outside . I must know where that bag you wore on the train is from !! Perfect for books! ❤
I feel like there are a few ways you could do the book idea in terms of arranging that all have different pros and cons, but you could do a shelf of books per table like adam was suggesting, and then also have a book with "table one" etc somewhere on the shelf (and could use the table book to separate tables if not enough shelves, and you could do a colour just for the table names so they stand out), or you could use font style/colours/other visual designs like a type of leaf or flower or something on each to distinguish each table and mix the books up freely (and then the table one etc books could be either also mixed in or on their own shelf/section as like a key) Also, ik the debate around wedding favours is a whole thing, but it could be cute to let the guests take them home if they want, as then they could have a book decoration with their name on for their bookshelves
My wedding dress was blush pink and I struggled to find the perfect heels. I'm not really a heels wearer and wanted to ensure I was getting a pair I'd wear again. I ended up purchasing some custom block heels from Harriet Wilde in burgundy suede to match the colour scheme. They were the prettiest shoes ever and surprisingly comfortable. For the evening, I bought ballerina slipper socks for the female guests to change into (since it was an October wedding, flip flops didn't seem appropriate). Best decision ever! Good luck on your shoe shopping journey & have the most wonderful wedding 🤍
Love that you’re crafting your own wedding accessories, a lovely cosy vlog as always. The make-up is so perfect for you! ❤️ Maybe look to see if you have any local Makerspaces around you as you could use their machines to laser cut or Cricut some wedding accessories. I work in a Makerspace and we had a Bride laser engrave some hangers from IKEA for her bridal party. I definitely stole the idea for my friend’s wedding and still have my own laser engraved “Maid of Honour” hanger in my wardrobe 😂😂 If you ever fancy a trip to Barry Library you’re more than welcome to come and do some laser cutting and engraving 😊
If you are not a heel person investing in some smart flats is so worth it. Ive worn my wedding shoes more that anything else i got for my wedding except maybe jewelery and it was really worth getting something you love in a flat. I've worn them to other peoples weddings and lots of parties.
Don't know if you've ever said, but when is the wedding happening? Not exact date obviously, but what month? Makeup looked so gorgeous, very natural and fairylike. ❤
To be fair I think Adam could teach cooking full stop.even if someone is good at it, I think they'd learn something from him! He's obviously very good at it and definitely puts me to shame. Has he got time to start a TH-cam channel on the side?

Seeing you and Adam genuinely laugh together when in the kitchen made my night. That’s what life’s all about 😊
My 1 year old would like to request more Flo content. His favorite part of watching your videos with me is when she pops on the screen.
She sends a headbutt in his direction 🐱
You and Adam are just the cutest, you are always laughing and just look so much in love ❤
When Lucy has a pencil behind her ear, you know she means business! LOVE the seating plan idea, it will look gorgeous ❤

They sound sooo dreamy! I might have to do this 🥹

Your make up was just perfection ... your skin looked like a fairy ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! So happy with it ☺️
Both shoes are beautiful! I loved the pink colour. The book seating idea is wonderful but please remember to wear a mask when using spray paint.
Love the cardigan! As a librarian I need one like that
I wore a pair of rose gold Keds for my wedding. Comfort is king!

The seating plan is going to look so epic!

Or make sure to use the side of the cardboard that doesn’t have anything printed on it on the outside.
Great idea! I’ll see if I can be bothered to add details by the time I’ve made them all 😂 definitely primer though 👍🏻
I’m getting married next year and I love the wedding content! Any kind of content tbh - books, cats, it’s all good!

You've brightened my monday with this!!
Not doing a great job at juggling my schedule at the moment so it’s a random upload day 😂🥰
Don't know if you've ever said, but when is the wedding happening? Not exact date obviously, but what month? Makeup looked so gorgeous, very natural and fairylike. ❤
It’s a few months away still, we’re keeping the general info to ourselves for now. Thanks so much, I loved it 😊

"I don't have to do my make-up" followed by the use of 4 products? Oh my goodness.
