I can see the logic behind "more Sky Rockets" because if nothing else, I would hope it at least makes Drag a little more hesitant about trying to be so close to Hwoarang that he can smell what he had for lunch.

Interesting to hear that you don't feel comfortable in the hwo vs drag matchup I'm a drag main and most other drags from the dc feel the opposite, as drag can't deal with being pressured, hwo is one of the harder matchups for drag

That interaction is 95% you fault my man, see, at +3 dragunov cant really frame trap a dickjab, df1 trades and every faster option gets ducked, exept df4 and that move sucks and leaves drag at +2 or -9 on block, so we can rule that out, other that that drag cant frame trap a dickjab, his best anwer would be to guess a reaction from you and back dash, turning the move into a SPACING trap and destroying your whiff with snk2, but thats the kicker, at the wall, like in this situation, he can't backdash a dickjab, or at the very least it's way harder. Is it a catch all solution? No. Theres still counterplay and you could still have blown up? Its drag, probably yes. Was it at least an option to counterplay that low spam, yes. Ps. Feel free to replay and/or tell me if im wrong, im not that good, just happened to have labbed this specific interaction Edit: also i guess dragunov could try to uf3 to crush you dickjab, weird answer but a possible one, sidesteping a dickjab would still be possible, armor though it and wallsplat you. All good option, point being, yeah there isn't a "right" answer in this situation, and dickjab doesn't just "beat" hatchet kick, that how tekken works. However it beats this type of pressure and give the drag player a specific layer of defense to deal with, creating opportunities to get out of the shitty situation.
