Hi Gigi and Mike, Mindanao has lots of nice places to go but there are some that is somewhat dangerous to visit for foreigners so better ask local authorities before going places. MIxed customs, tribal groups, religions, foods and different dialects abound there. Other than that, Southern Philippines is so beautiful to explore. Stay safe!
But dont be scared, most people have outdated infomations. I mean in the meantime vloggers go to Marawi or Basilan. Well you dont have to do that but CDO, Davao and Zamboanga are all really no problem. It is really hurtful for the local industry if people telling outdated information and is hurtful to their economy and their future

Interesting, in our country you can have a school that offers the first 12 years of study (primary-mid-highschool), after which you go to university where you do 3-5 years depending on your major ☺️

In fact, I myself started Kinder till I graduated HS in a provincial university, but transferred to another university for college in Manila, then my post grad in another university in Baguio.
