Honestly I think that after you complete one version you automatically get sent to the next version once you enter again and once all of them are complete you can choose which one you want to go to.
Yeah, and considering how chronological these are, i can see that working. Like you have to donate to the shrine before unlocking Mad Mew Mew, and after you beat her, the casino get unlocked. The only issue is the Mad Mew Mew battle mechanics, but most (good quality) controllers have dual analog sticks these days anyways.
There's actually a mod of undertale called Undertale: Bits and Pieces that adds all of unused stuff + tons of New content that plans on adding the 3 shrines.
By looking at this we can say that possibly, the dog shrine isn't affected by resets, if it was it probably wouldn't have changed. We can say that the dog shrine has its own timeline which will continue in the next port (if there is going to be one)
you can see where toby's priorities are when he gives xbox and ps4 a little slot machine and donation box, and he gives the switch version an entirely new boss fight with a new mechanic lmao

Those are just there if you won money after donating to receive the HD upgrade .They don't mean anything, but apparently you get more dialogue from Sans and Mew Mew if you talk to them with a certain number of particles on the screen.
For raw content its pretty good, PC does some of the meta things better though like the keyboard in metatons fight, the neutral ending sequence and the window name changing for some events
personally, i prefer the PC version since it's the only one i have, but also because it closes the game and changed the window name, which someone else already said although the switch version has to be my favorite in regards to the shrine. i love mad mew mew's song
This is some Papyrus’ sink plot here. Dog shrine got some dognation by the human, the dog built new stuff, Mad Mew Mew destroyed the shrine and claim the place, and then the place got demolished (by the dog) and then rebuilt as a casino. Damn. Talking about changes.
So, first, in ps version, the dog builds himself a shrine. In switch version, the shrine is old and destroyed and you find a mad mew mew. In X-Box version, you find the old shrine, but the dog destroys it to build a casino.
I love how you can enter in the Dog's Shrine during Papyrus's date. Like, imagine who he is outside the closet not giving a damn waiting for you to come out while you are or donating to a dog, or fighting a doll or gambling/donating coins for gain stuff so his brother can roast you
I wish every port made the *extra* extra frog easter egg a "less exclusive" moment since now technically most versions have it. Going from: PC: (Only 1 small wall frog) to PS4/Vita: "A wonderful, exclusive experience..." to Switch: "A neat, semi exclusive experience..." to Xbox: "A normal, barely exclusive experience..."

Looking at this comparison, I'm really glad to have Undertale on my Switch, 'cuz the Switch version of the dog shrine is definetly the coolest, since we've got an entirely new boss battle with a great new combat style ^^👌🏻 The Ps Vita and the XBox versions of the dog shrine were funny as well, but I feel like you just don't really get much out of them, aside from new items to interact with, which you have to buy first 🤷🏻♀️
