Maybe because you cannot read Chinese, but I feel this song is talking about the beautiful mountainous terrain of Tibet and the unity of all Chinese races

It's very beautiful song and she is an excellent singer. She reminds me of the memory of Li-Xianglan ( Toshiko Yamaguchi ). Li Xianglan was a Japananese, but sang many beautiful songs in Chinese. Li Xianglan could speak Mandarin well. I am not sure whether Gongyue can speak Tibetan well or not.

As I suspected, I scroll down and read the comments after listening to this beautiful song and find nothing but a political debate, hatred, and racism... I can't help but wonder what the world look like if we all applied the message embedded in this song.
Many are too quick to speak and yet disinterested in listening - ultimately, they are slow to learn. Many judge without study. I can almost guarantee that those who express bitter hostility have not studied anything relating to the people of Tibet or China. Not because they would otherwise agree with the song and enjoy it but because through study they would have learnt conduct for their dealings with their fellow brothers and sisters. And the song is inspired by the railway to Tibet and the 'the road to heaven' in this song means the railway. This railway is of course built, funded and operated by the government now an SOE. This railway could escalate the connection between remote area of Tibet and the rest of China. It's of strategic importance both economically and militarily. It could help improve the economic development of Tibet. To be frank it could help deploy more troops to Tibet to exercise more control over the Tibet separatist and the border with India if necessary. So some people don't like this railway and some do. That's the background. But this song is good like many songs praising government and Chairman Mao.
