Idk if this is something maybe you’ve already thought about and didn’t want to, or maybe there’s a video out there already and I missed it-there’s been so many new products over the past few years. Idk how other people but i feel overwhelmed. I tried a few things but they all feel more difficult than I expected. Would you consider making a video about the basic supplies you recommend, especially for a beginner?
I love using the inhype rubber base coat over the normal one i find it helps other products stick on my nails a lot better

Hi! New viewer here! Love your vibe and your “ realness”. Also, you have beautiful nails. I’m a polish fanatic ( indie polishes have been my obsession for about 13 years now. I own probably 2k+) and am always doing nail art. My nails are decent and grow out pretty well in their own but I’ve been wanting to make them even stronger but am so afraid to use anything in them that requires a “ harsh” removal. I don’t even use gel polish bc of the soaking and/or filing for removal. I’ve worked hard to get my nails nice and don’t want to damage them. Anyways, the technique you showed here looks like what I may need to try. Is this what technique what you’d recommend for someone that has decent nails but just wants them to be a bit stronger? I’m seriously itching to try something new but I’m so scared! Idk why gel or anything beside regular polish scares me but I wanna experiment, just want to do so without damaging my nails. Even gel polish has had me feeling iffy but there are so many cool nail art options with gel. Is removal really that bad? What would you recommend for someone like me? I’m a total newbie and have zero clue about any of this. Help? Please! 💜
Quick question, when using builder gel how do you avoid heat spikes? At the salons or at home I always get heat spikes with builder gel.

Love this! When you’re cleaning up around the nails with that detail brush in between polish layers and curing, what is the brush soaked in? Is it acetone? Just curious so I can follow your steps! My nails peel off within a couple days and I spend so so so much time and meticulous effort on them!

I find that the only reason the nail curls inwards is because of the nail shape you choose to file your nails to, so that almond shape, atleast thats what i find with my nails, it could just be how your nails grow naturally
almond, oval, square, coffin, my natural nails curl inwards and i don’t like it.

The amz link for the lamp is for a 6w lamp? How is that able to cure builder gel properly? I'm genuinely curious bc I have a different brand that's also 6w and it couldn't cure the aimeili builder gel.
how long are you curing for? i cure for at least 45 seconds and it’s cured every gel product i own. i do find that aimeili’s inhibition layer is extra sticky no matter how long i cure it for though.
Would the builder in a bottle be something I could use under builder gel from a gel x kit? My nails have gotten super damaged and I can’t get any gel to stick to them ever with gel extensions. I put them on and they pop off within a week and gels just peel off.
I do not know the answer to that but the best thing for you to do is just let your nails rest for a couple weeks
How long of a wear do you get from your method/prep? I just started working with BIAB- and I’m getting a lot of lifting at my free edge. Do you find that the ph bond and primer is enough to get a good 3 weeks of wear? Mine has been lifting around a week 🥴
Use alcohol as well. Also use a fine buffing block on the free edge.

Does that primer dry in the lamp or air dry? It looks weirdly shiny and gel like
it air dries, the shine is normal. it leaves a sticky finish so that the base coat has something to grip onto.

Great tip on the bling
So I bought some gel and did the prep and all the good stuff but after about 3 days the gel started to peel off, any tips or tricks to keep the gel from peeling? I did rough up the nail with a hand file and used very thin layers but it just seems to peel every time I do gel, I’m thinking of going back nail polish 😔 I don’t wanna but I have had nothing but issues with gel. Help 😅
