It was really great to see that Dooku and Qui-Gon actually had a strong relationship, that the better qualities of Dooku probably helped make Qui-Gon the great Jedi he was. Also, the fact that Dooku seems to know he was partly responsible for Qui-Gon getting killed--Sidious wanted QG dead to prove a point/rob Dooku of someone who could keep him in the light. Good stuff.
Tales of the Jedi is the best thing we've had since season 7 of CW.
Ahsoka's line "she was my friend" broke me. I was an absolute mess for episodes 2, 4, and 6.
Why do I torture myself watching this. I was already an emotional wreck the first time. 😭😭
I love watching new starwars fans get into the shows/movies.
First thing to say, remember that the man behind this amazing show is again, Dave Filoni :)

7:50 that's why Obi-Wan wasn't able to find Kamino in the archives in Ep II
8:22 in the movies, we only see Yaddle in Ep I, sitting in the Jedi counsil, now there is an official reason why she doesn't appear later (there was one different in the comics but i guess it wasn't canon anyway)
9:40 that’s Ian Macdamird’s voice! the original actor of Palpatine in the movies (wasn’t the case in Clone Wars)

As an old Star Wars fan (I saw A New Hope in Theaters when it was called just "STAR WARS") welcome onboard.
Post clone wars finale, I had it in my head canon that Ahsoka attended the funeral. So Glad Dave Filoni made it happen.

I was so psyched to see these extra tales that were included in the saga. Didn't expect them to be so incredibly sad, but they still fill in the gaps really nicely.

Welcome, Nerd Tara! Just found your channel. I came for the Ahsoka shorts but was pleasantly surprised by the Dooku episodes. I still think we need more animated Ahsoka.
The live action stuff will be an interesting experiment. Still not quite sure about Rosario, though. I guess we wait and see. I need to see more.
But........Ashley will ALWAYS be my Ahsoka.
I AM dying to see live-action Sabine, though. I think she'll be epic (it IS Dave Filoni we're talking about here).

Definitely, my favorite moment was during the training sequence was seeing young Caleb Dume (aka Kanan) from Star Wars rebels, and the bad batch, mainly Star Wars rebels.. I think the saddest moment was Padme funeral when she says she was my friend.. They could do this every year fill in lots of back stories and untold stories

2:45: Yeah, big no. Palpatine had absolutely nothing to do with this or any of the corruption in the senate. It was there long before he because Chancellor. He only used the pre existing corruption in the Senate and Jedi order to gain followers like Dooku. Who was completely disillusioned with the Republic and Jedi long before he met Sidious

1st episode made me facepalm. What kind of idiot mother will take her 1-year old child to hunt? How are you gonna shoot a rifle when her head is right under your shoulder, how do you know that she won’t cry and scare the prey, how are you gonna chase the prey? How are you gonna protect her from a predator…oh… And this child, who doesn’t understand what’s going on and thought that tiger is just playing games with mommy, who doesn’t even talk yet, who never used the Force before, somehow not only stops the tiger from eating her, not only convinces it to give her a ride, but somehow makes it to bring her to the village which it would never come close to because it knows it would be shot…She didn’t even know in which direction the village was from them! Even Ezra, who isn’t a great character, had real trouble with calming down animals or just making them feel his emotions, and he was a teenager with some basic Force training! Bravo Dave Filoni, you made Ahsoka a Mary Sue. And the weird thing - in next episode she is failing again and again! Does that mean that training makes her worse?
Thank god, episodes with Dooku are good (after bad first Ahsoka episode I was worried). Really shows you where he is coming from and what is the line between him and Qui-Gon lies. I find it weird that senator decided to shoot even though his son is a hostage, but I guess Dooku told him he was not in danger and maybe he knows how many people there are…Also weird that the guards invited Jedi to see the place of murder when they were guilty…Also why didn’t Yaddle at least try to jump backwards when she was holding the door above her, she could have survived…Granted, Sidious could have force pull her forward, but it would be nice to see.
Everything you nitpicked can be explained so easily if you had the understanding beyond surface level lol all episodes were done well 👍🏼
Tips for fake crying: use Visine, get some tissue and freshly cut onion. Announcing that “your going to cry” and then proceeding to finger dab dry eyes and nose isn’t working hard enough. Put some effort into it!
