Thank you for sharing, excellent video. I’ve just started performing TCD’s and the facility uses a non imaging system. It’s very strange not being able to see the images of the vessels being assessed.
The hospital I work for used TCD to assess for patent PFO. Our protocol is to locate MCA and take color and pulse wave and then do a pulse wave while the nurse agitates using a saline solution in their IV to check for bubbles. Very different from the protocol and uses you mentioned!

We started with non imaging, if you can do non imaging, imaging is so much easier

Yeah this protocol is for subarachnoid hemorrhage and sickle cell disease patients.
