Its a shame he had it with this band. I mean the drummer and the bass are great. Shes very busy active player. For this this type of music music. Drummer has wicked timing and fills. Weird they did not blow up.
"That bass player is soooo in it. I can feel that she's feeling it." You should have seen her perform in person / live. Amazing. And let's not forget that drummer. he's like a machine, perfect.
Yep at first i thought it was a new single from the smashing pumpkins but i found out it was the abandoned pools. They came to Modesto in 2002 for are Summer Fest.
@ThcDinobot Well the drummer didn't write a lot of the songs it was josh freese and they were out at a certain time where there was a lot of new bands that sounded some what like them and did get much play on the radio
People make clone high comments on this bands music but tying in their brief mini legacy with a cartoon is kind of insulting to the heart of their music. See how they didn’t use this song in the show? It’s too visceral for a cartoon
Best concert sound I ever experienced was Garbage w/ Abandoned Pools at the Hard Rock here in Vegas. Mind blowing sound. Zwan was the worst. Same venue. Wish I could find the former on bootleg.
great band. never saw them live or perform live aside from this performance. they were underrated, they could have been the next reiteration of the Pumpkins. but the mix for this performance is awful. but what is with Tommy's head bobbing ? i didn't know the band was lead by a bobble-head.
Ron DayVoo The first time I heard this song on the radio we were on our home from watching a Sacramento Kings playoff game on the big screen at Arco Arena and this came on I thought it was a new Smashing Pumpkins single myself.

They had all the perfect elements

Not No Bryan head is a god
I saw this band back in 2002. And they were awesome!
The played in my city back in 2002 at a outdoor concert they were awesome
I hadn't seen a female bassist with that much presence until Emma of the Sick Puppies and Esperanza Spaulding came on the scene.
you ever heard of sonic yourh
@@quinoreal Yeah, but I haven't gotten into them. I had gotten preoccupied with My Bloody Valentine lol
Check out Paz Lenchantin
One of my favorite albums of all time...this was the end of a great era of rock music. 😥
Douglas Arnold my favorite band of all time. Tommy Walter is a genius
Bryan Head on drums; Leah Randi on bass; Luke Tierny on guitar.
I don't think it sounds bad at all.
The CD version his voice was altered and synthesized, so it's obviously going to sound different.

They performed with Zwan? Wonder how Corgan felt about these guys
@@LuvBun4 No. They did not perform on the same day. I said the best and worst concert sound was at that venue
garbage AND abandoned pools? that sounds like heaven!
@@lucy4666 Abandoned Pools was MUCH harder live than they are on their albums, and they played the most amazing cover of Army of Me.

The performance was not even that bad let the guy jam hoe he wants 😭
This bassist WHOA

He was also in The Eels.
That is true
yes it was.. most of it with the title remedy comes with maraz
i love these guys. and, ya lol, he does look crazy like Tom Delonge.
fun song. old too
they would’ve been one of the big ones in the 90s
i need someone who knows abandoned pools very well, to answer "what is the name of the girl playing bass?" im having trouble finding it, Thanx.
also a member of the duo Oliver the Penguin!
This band was blowing up when this video came out.
Then they disappeared. Similar to apex theory.
This was the top version of the band though.
I wanted to see this music video but apparently its been taken off...dammit

search . 4shared . com -- Is where you can find this song
can't
he sounds absolutely different then he does on cd in a very bad way
they couldn't possibly sound more like the Smashing Pumpkins if they TRIED...
Ron DayVoo The first time I heard this song on the radio we were on our home from watching a Sacramento Kings playoff game on the big screen at Arco Arena and this came on I thought it was a new Smashing Pumpkins single myself.
It's why I like them a lot though, they sound just like Smashing Pumpkins.
Sounds a lot like Adore to me.
Same thoughts
@@nnnnnnnp sounds nothing like SP
Wow, stiff. I love this band but man they were all nerves.
the bassist was great though
shut up
John who?
wow vocals sound horrendous here compared to the studio version
It's the mixing. Still doesn't sound bad.
