been looking for this footage forever... i remember hearing the last 2 mins of this on the radio when it happened, it was my first time ever hearing a hockey game on the radio too... I was like, wtf just happened? lol
I was 21 when I watched this on the nhl network. i couldnt believe Denver killed off the 6 on 3. One of the Denver players had the look of "I'm going to cost my team, my university the national championship"
@@MrT8599 It is Sean McDonough and Bob Norton. It was the last year either of them called the Frozen Four, as ESPN began using Gary Thorne as the play-by-play guy, and then later John Buccigross after Thorne left ESPN.
The disallowed goal call was ridiculous.
Thank goodness they changed the rule...
Yes it was that player had not effect on the goalie.

god the skate in the crease rule is so stupid I can't believe the sport was played with that rule for so long
wow incredible they kill off a 5 on 3 in the last minute and a half and still win the game
Maine band is rocking. What song are they playing @ 1:40?
Not as heartbreaking for Maine as when Minnesota tied the game with 56 seconds left, then beat them.

Is that Sean McDonough?
@97jfg I thought it sounded like him. Is he calling the game with Barry Melrose?
