      Yes it was that player had not effect on the goalie.

    been looking for this footage forever... i remember hearing the last 2 mins of this on the radio when it happened, it was my first time ever hearing a hockey game on the radio too... I was like, wtf just happened? lol

    I was 21 when I watched this on the nhl network. i couldnt believe Denver killed off the 6 on 3. One of the Denver players had the look of "I'm going to cost my team, my university the national championship"

    god the skate in the crease rule is so stupid I can't believe the sport was played with that rule for so long

    Not as heartbreaking for Maine as when Minnesota tied the game with 56 seconds left, then beat them.

      @@MrT8599 It is Sean McDonough and Bob Norton. It was the last year either of them called the Frozen Four, as ESPN began using Gary Thorne as the play-by-play guy, and then later John Buccigross after Thorne left ESPN.
