Man I'd love to get my hands on some of those pink coloured exterior bricks, looks like a lovely shade and a bit more realistic for a building than Lego's pink
It’s cool the color but a shame really cause most brand won’t share their bricks in bulk. The only way is to search whether go bricks (loose bricks) has this tone of color. I think Oxford is the only other brand that does a similar color.

No unfortunately. We tried to help several customers, but the cost is way too high. I guess double the current price and then you still need to pay your import tax...I'm really sorry we tried, but was too difficult.

at first I was happy this was available after seeing the beautiful Shin Chan stuff, but sadly this is so not accurate to the anime, I watch Chibi Maruko, the first season. I don't like how this house folds, I wish it was like the Shin chan house where you open the ceiling. The house itself has a very simply layout, so it shouldn't have been hard to make that work. But I'm still gonna get this, because I know once it's out of stock, I'll be very sad, despite the inaccuracy
there're small shops with Chibi Maruko-chan, may be from other company. the figures are nice like Shin-chan one.

A thought I have regarding the weird swiveling furniture. Perhaps the designers did that to help play with it.
This set seems to be a brick dollhouse/play house.
So to give the illusion for the child that Maruko-chan is going to the kitchen, the rice cooker and dish cabinet can swivel out before the child makes Maruko-chan walk into the kitchen. Or other rooms.
And as the roof can come off, too, it seems like this is a child's play set. A child doesn't care that a sticker door is only on one wall. In their imagination the door is on both walls. They just need one to give them the idea.
When you dropped this I expected a LOT more parts falling off.

You’re probably right. A more of a playable style for kids haha. I’m over the sickness which is good but I’m still looking mighty puffy and red eyes lol. Time to whip myself back into shape and get healthy again.
I have never heard of this anime. I actually like the figures they are kind of cute. The cardboard thing is a little tough to swallow. But it looks like a great playset for the kids.
So far, I've been hoarding all the cardboards that customers didn't want hahah saves a bit more on shipping too. Lol.
I definitely recommend it. It may seem like a simple anime, but damn I love it on the same level as big animes like One Piece but on a different scale. It is simply relatable. Maruko chan is a 9 year old girl most of us were her age, she's lazy, doesn't like school but a kind hearted girl, though very spoiled, but has her good sides. the episodes are so hilarious.
7:12 you mentioned there is another version, the Kibly one? Where can I see/find it? This is a nice piece but sadly it has too many downsides ;(
Yea you're right, maybe they thought too big. For the keeppley version I got mixed up lol. I was referring to the Crayon Shin Chan house. But they did just announce a doreamon house for both brands oxford block and keepley. lol. So many houses now.
Hey Scottie, love your videos. You mentioned ordering extra pieces... Is there any way we can buy select hair pieces like the really nice "chinese women" ones from some of the ancient theme sets?
We actually do sell extra pieces but haven't publicly put anything out yet. Mostly loose bricks and we are considered one of gobricks distributors now (a leading 3rd party brick brand). As for hair pieces I can ask Ida and get back to you here, if it's a yes it'll prob be wise to buy a batch or place it with an order. lol I doubt you'd want to pay shipping for something so small.
