This episode after the death of actor Norman Beaton who played Desmond Ambrose in this show, died six days before this final episode was aired/transmitted. The normal theme tune was played but a Christmas themed frame was put around the opening sequence.
Season's finale and unfortunately series's finale. Unless Dead Parrot decides to post the Porkpie series as well. Once you get past missing most of the old cast or some of them acting out character in the beginning it's also tells a good story. At least Porkpie's storyline with Susu gets a proper ending.
I enjoyed all the 6 seasons of Desmond's. Following the death of Norman Beaton in 1994, a spin-off series was made with Porkpie in the title role. This ran for two series from 1995 to 1996. I'm looking forward to seeing the Desmond's spin-off series Porkie one day.
watching from kenya, I am sad this is the last episode. the best comedy ever.
I love this episode. Thank you for posting..I love watching my fellow British/west Indians.
