It's the final race of the Moza Racing F3 Fixed Series on #iRacing and we're at Watkins Glen for what turns out to be the most incredible race I've had in a long, long time. I have the pace for a great finish, but can I keep it out of the barriers? - เกม
On the long straight, if someone is in tow, keep the optimal line, let them have it, you will get it back. It was absolutely killing me seeing you defend the inside line which gives you such a loss of speed hugging the long curb it was killing you. GR everywhere else
Yeah I think I lost sight of that during the race. I did know it, but some of the time I just got stuck there following slipstream of others, and then others made a bad decision! You live and learn! Thanks for watching buddy!

Great video, Ben! You weren't at fault at all. Lee was a menace whole race. I had a little bit of damage from an incident earlier in the race with Lee (I'm pretty sure). It was fun, though!

I am new to your channel and have watched a few of the Formula 3 videos now. The racing looks awesome when its clean, I mainly race GT3 with abit of MX5 thrown in but after watching this and a few of your other videos I am tempted to try Formula 3. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this, you drove very well and the commentary was excellent.

Lee in this race was always looking like an accident waiting to happen in my eyes. I don't think you can be accused of anything at all in that collision. Very entertaining race overall, too bad you got isolated from the front of the pack so early on! Not a great look for the Ferrari livery driver...
Thanks man - yeah I reckon if I'd been able to stay in touch with the top ten then maybe like 8th or something was achievable. The top 5 had mad speed, but other than that it was very very close in qualifying.
Fantastic race! I absolutely love driving the F3 cars, as when people drive clean, it is always fantastic racing!

Wow Ben, thsat rejoin by i think Regana? shocking really. great racing mate. unbelievable avoidance throughout. seemed a bit like slipstream simulator down that back straight!! lol , definitely lee just drifted onto your line late on. superb pass on Bertrand round the outside and holding the line for the inside on that left hander. awesome video as always Ben!

I'm flabbergasted at the amount of people trying to fight and send it at every corner for 19 consecutive laps.
I am currently holding the WR for fastest average lap time this week without being the fastest driver mostly thanks to cooperating with other fellow drivers rather than obstacolating each other throughout the whole lap. In my mind it's so simple: work together, pull a gap, fight it out.
Ha yeah I think I’m as guilty as anyone of this on reflection - too caught up in the lap to lap scraps. Nice work on the WR!
Great race, Ferrari livery guy closed a gap on me so he spinned and that sure was unsafe rejoin :D

I honestly dont understand why you would move out of slipstream when u knew already that slipstream is massive. And ive never seen any attack on the drivers in front, instead being attacked easily into that left hand hairpin after the straight because of that unreasonable movement to get out of the slipstream. Yeah, can't see u win on these cars if thats how u drive it in a race
Hey Max - I’m not sure I follow, at some point you crash into the driver ahead if you don’t pull out of their slipstream. So is your advice to ease off and stay tucked in behind through the right hander at the end of the back straight, rather than look to overtake there?
@@Ben_LaBroca yes, play the throttle as much as possible behind the car upfront, and if u want to overtake, do it on the entry of the corners (make sure u have enough top speed to be side by side at this time). In case there are more than 1 car infront of you, try to slipstream the faster one or the further one from you, that way u can maintain the acceleration from the slipstream. For defending: if theres another car in front of you, keep following his slipstream instead of trying to defend on the inside. That way, when the car behind try to pull off of u on the straight to try to overtake wont have enough top speed because of the drag, while u're still in slipstream. And then u can battle it out in the corner with much better entry speed and line. 0.7 to 0.9 gap already have a lot of slipstream imo around watkins glen. Ah and another thing, i think u're the type of drivers that go into the corners fast and kinda compromise the exit. During the race, it'd be ur best interest to have better exit speed than the car infront of you at any time during the lap, that way you're always reedy to overtake them at the end of the straights and into the corners, that way u wont be tucked behind slow cars for too long and u can also defend with better speed at the end of a straight when u r leading with no cars in front of you

Hope you reported the Ferrari livery for that rejoin, just senseless and selfish and happens multiple times every race unfortunately.
