- A short park session with Nenad Gone Beepin, using the Minelab X-Terra 70 and Deteknix Xpointer pin-point probe. Nenad shows you how simple it is to set-up the X-Terra 70. For more information on the Deteknix Xpointer, visit: phasetechnical....
The X-Terra 70 is as good as the 705. Great little detector. I still have a little way to pay mine off with my finds but I am gradually getting there.
Your Xpointer is the go. Could be my next pin pointer when one is needed.
Nice video. Its not all about the gold. :)
Cheers,
great video, well made! iam new to the X-TERRA and detecting, and struggling to get my head around sensitivity! so if iam getting 30 32 27 40 etc, i should turn the sensitivity up? and what is the most common sensitivity number? cheers mate
How long would the batteries last roughly would you say been looking at the deteknix dual powered and the makro pointer
boy you weren't kidding about that soil being compacted, its like concrete!
What about rocks setting????
I see your using the xpointer can you tell me what it's like to use and how much interference does course to your machine
Gordon Jones I find the Xpointers great. Zero falsing, very sharp and graduated audio alarm so you can really hone in on the target. They do chew through batteries as they are pulse induction, so I use rechargeable 9Vs. Mainly using the camo Xpointer for prospecting (deep holes) and use the Xpointer Wader Li for coin detecting as it has a built in battery. I plug it in to USB in the car on my way to a hunt.
What's the digging tool you used ?
+Louis Coleshill True Temper garden tool. Okay for sandy ground but not very strong. I am now using the Deteknix Diamond Digger.
