Years ago owner of Arizona Outback .Was a believer that a straight cable for the first 18” helped with emi .Don’t know if it helps but I’ve followed that practice for years.Cheers
Do you think running your coil cable straight until end of first section of the shaft helps with getting spikes or a more quite running detector?Cheers
It achieves three things. 1. Minimises the amount of cable that's visible to the coils detection field, 2. Reduces any cable strain on the cable exit point, 3. Protects the cable from damage from rocks when placing the detector down
Boa tarde Nenad!
Boa sorte.
Well done Nenad the 9” coil seems to go alright have tried the new Sadie yet good video mate love the machine
No not yet, but will give one a run soon. I'm liking the balance of sensitivity and depth of the 9" Elite. Glad you love the E1500!
Thanks Nenad I love the attention to detail and the pro tips we get in an easy to understand way.
Glad you enjoyed the video and learned a thing or two!
Hi mate. I remember having a conversion online with you about more tone or treble on the gpx machines a few years ago. Clarity in the signal really helps targets stand out. Especially those little whisper signals.
@panpantz exactly. Improving audio clarity is part of the reason the sP01 enhancer got developed.
Found the needle in the haystack nice find close to 0.2g good find these days ✨🍀⛏👍
Haha yes! Thanks for watching
Hi Nenad, that’s a great machine for someone like me who gets out to the goldfields maybe two three times a year, i watched the video earlier but the comments were switched off, love the little piece you found at the end. I know you have a video explaining the settings on it , something I’m considering in purchasing at some point next year, Just to change things around from coins and relics to popping a few little nuggets if I’m lucky enough, at a reasonable price too, no need guessing what coil to get I see it already comes in a pack, take care mate 👍
Thanks mate. Yep perfect machine if you want something capable without spending the big dollars. I need to mix it up a bit more with some coin hunts haha
I have found when looking for gold in highly mineralised soil. 19 seems to be the magic number. No matter what coil I have on. When treasure hunting I still leave it on mineralised soil, drop to large gold and drop sensitive to 10 or lower. It’s a very impressive machine for the price.
@@goldfools5445 exactly. Thanks for commenting
Nenad, That was one of the best examples I’ve seen of effectively ‘working the ground’
@@ProspectorswithParkinsons Thanks!
Hi Nenad, if you don’t mind, can you share the settings you may have used? Has been 2 years so if you can’t remember I get it. Cheers.
Can't remember exactly, but knowing where I was, my settings were most likely not too far off Factory presets in General mode, and Enhance timing. My usual tweaks are increase Target Volume to 10, and Signal Peak to 18, and Tone around 46 but this is a personal thing.
Nenad, what if you came over it at 90*?
On small roughly circular pieces of gold, when using a round mono coil, the direction of swing will make very little difference. But, if the gold is an irregular shape and even more so if you are using an elliptical mono, then the direction of swing can make all the difference.
Hi Nenad. From where I’m sitting mate the 15” whipped butt particularly in ‘fine gold’. Thanks for the vid. I have just bought a SH 5000 and using the 15” NF Evo amongst others. Cheers.
Great combo! Enjoy
Is the AlgoForce 1500 worth buying vs the minelab gpx 6000?
The 6000 will punch deeper, it's also more automated being locked in ground tracking and having Auto Sensitivity options. However, it's also nearly 4 times the price!! AlgoForce is better in high EMI environments and can use a huge range of coils which are cheaper than 6000 accessory coils. The AlgoForce also has an adjustable threshold, threshold tone, Audio Treble, handle vibration and conductive Target ID which the 6000 doesn't have. So if you have a big budget and like the idea of switch on, noise cancel, pump coil and go, then go the 6000. If you'd rather buy something a lot cheaper that is still a capable machine, and more user customisable in terms of coils, size of power bank etc. then go the E1500.
Great video explaining the workings of this new detector 👍
Thanks!
E outra coisa, quais configurações devo usar?

Hi Nenad. If you were rich $1000 in your pocket. Would you buy the GOLDHAWK 10×5 OR the EXTREME 10×5 ELIPTICAL Both by Coiltech to run on the Mighty SDC2300 im undecided Thankyou if you answer me 😊.
Hi, the Gold Hawk series is for the GPX6000, and the Gold Extreme is for the SDC2300. I think both machines are sensitive enough to small gold with their stock coils, so the reason to go smaller is more for ease of pin-pointing and working scrubby or rocky terrains.

Hi nenad ,I bought a 7000 ,as I felt as I wasn't getting the depth on my 6 ,,,is the 12nf nearly matching the 11 on the small pieces ,was thinking of getting the 12nf and a ctx lithium battery to knock half a kilo of the machine ,,bring it under the 3 kilo mark
The 12" NF will get very close, but the 6 will probably still have the sharper signal on the very small bits. But the GPZ will still punch deeper on larger targets. Yes you can add a CTX battery, but bear in mind you may only get around 3-4 hrs run time, so you'd probably need two.
Haha I'm only good for 4 hours ,perfect
Enjoyed the video. Can you explain pros spoked v solid?
Thanks. A solid/flat bottom coil is easier to glide along rough terrain. Also, one run of tape around the outside and the skid is sealed from dirt. The only real advantage of a spoked is that they're usually lighter.
Hi.... Can you teach me to modify my 5000 by increasing gain?
Sorry, I don't modify detectors.
Birgün bende nagıt buurum bunun hayalini kuruyorum
Hi Nenad, I've got 2 pair of your headphones. 1 set has a faulty wire that cuts in and out when you move it, the wire going from 1 cup to the other from memory. Are you able to fix them?
Yep no worries, just send them in.
Good honest vid Nenad. I’ve seen and read a lot of info regarding auto+ no threshold vs manual (with threshold), but there is no mention of volume. You can’t run manual sensitivity with max volume, BUT you can with no threshold. I run auto+ (no threshold) with detector volume max and avantree torus neck speaker on max and it’s unbelievable what depth I have got when working a patch. Of course a lot comes into play from day to day emi, high mineralisation, your hearing etc. I have found a .4 at 11” and then a .1 at 9”!!!measured by taking out around an inch of dirt at a time. Even turning the detector volume down one notch and I would lose the signal which was only heard sweeping the coil in one direction only, and would balance out after 2-3 sweeps. Ground balance and the signal is there again. Just a very tiny repeatable chirp. You cannot compare a target with manual sensitivity and auto+ with the same volume. Auto+ (no threshold) has to have max volume on detector and external speaker. I use avantree torus speaker on max volume so I don’t know how it works with anything else. It doesn’t work just with detector speaker. I continue sometimes running manual on targets and have yet found nothing that that auto+ doesn’t pick up easily. Try it
@@AU-kid yes that all makes sense. Use what works and what you are comfortable/ confident with.
Mite be worth a try. What coil you running?
Gpx11. Would work with any coil I imagine.
Is the battery able to be replaced ?
Yes, but I prefer to do it here, as there are some slight differences between early units and later ones.
@@diggingwithphasetech I will be using the amp in two weeks so if it doesn’t hold up I will send it down . Rick
I have a 19", I've had the zed for a few years, put on the 19" and its noisey to the point I thought it was screwed up. I guess I just got to get used to it. I'm using at my property, the site of an 1850s california gold mining town. So I got town building remnants. The town burned down twice, and so lots of trash, square nails, pistols, but that 19" is just warbly as heck. I need to figure out the settings I guess.
Big coils are hard work in very trashy sites, as you can be over multiple targets at once, and there's also side detection on large shallow objects. Much better used in cleaner ground.
@diggingwithphasetech It's been a possibility I'v ignored. I need to go to well worked area for a test
Great headphones best we have used and we have tried most cheers 🤙
Cool, glad to hear that mate.
Does the 7000 have a benefit over the 6000?
The 7000 has a few benefits. 1. More control over the audio. 2. Ground balance options, i.e. you can switch the auto tracking off. 3. Concealed coil cable. 4. More depth on larger nuggets. 5. Can handle highly mineralised and high salt ground with a few settings changes, with the 6000 you may have to swap to the 14" DD coil. 6. Normal ground type setting gives a greater boost in performance compared to Normal on the 6000.
Certainly built tough.

You can use the equinox/6000 adaptor cable. phasetechnical.com.au/equinox-gpx6000-audio-adaptor-cable/ Or if you want to make up a curly patch cable you can sacrifice the headphone cord (supplied with the 6000) then snip off the 3.5mm end that connects to the headphones and you solder on a 6.35mm plug.

I've found gold with the sp01 and GOG headphones on the sdc2300 that i couldn't hear on standard speaker at all, or with your dual spk07 setup/sp01 combo. @adhawk5632 thanks. In all the rechargeable devices I've ever had, the miniB port has been the most reliable. I've had two phones with usb c that have stuffed up. So I'm a little reluctant to change it.
@@diggingwithphasetech you know your stuff, it is reliable. Either way, it's a game changer for the sdc2300. I never detect without it, cheers mate. On a side note, all 3 minelab headphones have gone crusty on the ear pads(GM, Nox and sdc), the GOG headphones are perfect, 5 years later👍👌🇦🇺
Can this unit minimise noisy humming noise of the sdc2300 detector?
On the SDC I like to use a lower sensitivity, this provides a more stable threshold. Have the threshold setting on the 4th LED, then adjust your volume on the sP01. Works very well.
I never use my sdc without the sp01 now, I love it. Super adjustable for the sound level you prefer. The filters work good. Somedays, when the sdc is running quiet, i run 4 on the sdc with 1 light with mode 2, and filter 1 cranked up on the volume on sp01, and it runs nearlt silent and is SUPER sensitive to smooth, subtle gold sounds. Nothing comprehensive about it. You just press the pin-point button. Just need to be mindful that pin-point is a non-motion mode, so the threshold can drift. If that happens press the pin-point button again. You can have a play with it at home to familiarize yourself. Use a small coil and drop sensitivity really low, and it should be stable enough.
