I think that noise is its coo, pigeons are rock doves, and all doves have a coo, all dove species coo sound different some are short, some are long, and they all sound different. My favorite ones are ring neck, and mourning dove coos.

I believe that it all depends on how well its being taken care of. This particular pigeon is adorable and makes the perfect pet However, city pigeons are a whole different matter. city pigeons obviously needs to survive by eating what ever they can find. The problem is a lot of the things they eat come from places that are extremely insanitary and unhealthy. Not too long ago i saw a pigeon eating food out of a garbage can. Sure, its food but nobody knows where that food comes from. And as a result, city pigeons do carry diseases and germs. Im not saying this because I hate pigeons. Like i said, I love them but what im saying are facts. If you take care of a pigeon properly then germs and diseases wont be an issue

Hello. I have 2 pigeons, both of which are PMV infected. I rescued them actually. I used to put them in cages initially, during the night, but since they hated being held and put into cages, they roam around in my house for the entire day and sleep whenever or wherever they like. May I know where your pigeon sleeps. Since my birds cannot fly due to the neck twisting thing from PMV, they sleep on the floor only. But theyre a bit uncomfortable lying in open space, I think. Your suggestions would be the most welcome.
No need to put pigeon in caveat night.. Even I have a rescue pigeon in my house....one of its wings was hurt badly by chinese manjha and it was hanging upsidedown outside my kitchen window... We took it inside..cut all threads it was entangled with....no it is with us since fifteen days and getting healed ... We never use a cage coz it roams in house at daytime and sleeps above acarton at night....very lovely bird
I love pigeons so much, I feed so many outside my flat. They come to my hands. But my question is: If you guys let them out to roam all over the house. It is very dangerous and unhygienic with their poop all over especially the kitchen!
hey i recently took in a pigeon back in early October, the mom never came back after a month and my mom and i took turns feeding him, he's with us now amd older and what i wanna ask is he tends to coo a bit but he likes to peck things a lot is that normal given how young he is? he doesn't seem mad more like annoyed but he's doing well
