6:20 I get why you went that direction, it does make sense but i think what they were going for was to signify that her MIND broke in that moment. That her abuse was so constant and normalized at that point that her mind broke and she just couldn't feel any emotion at all after that, totally numb, she basically became empty. it happens a lot with severe childhood abuse, the kids just go mute at a certain point, they stop believing anything will change or help them anymore. Its really fucking heart breaking.
