    It's the same in Argentina, Christmas in summer is the best in the world, heat, pool, beach, party, alcohol, everything outdoors, long nights, friends, whole families together, lots of lots of food , few clothes, I always say that in Argentina we wouldn't have the same Christmas traditions as in the northern hemisphere but since it is summer we celebrate much more, we take more advantage of the occasion To share with our loved ones, I think we had a thousand times better than in the north😂🏖️🇦🇷

    The best thing about having Christmas in Australia and New Zealand is that you get to enjoy Christmas by the pool or on some of the world's best beaches, munching away on the best lobsters, prawns and seafood available or enjoy balmy evenings outside, under the stars, singing Carols by Candlelight - a really beautiful way to spend Christmas with thousands of other carefree, hedonistic Aussies! Better still, we get to celebrate neighbourhood street parties and one of the world's best NEW YEAR'S EVE's with the internationally famous fireworks display (in Sydney). We get to party HARD outside on beautiful, long, balmy summery evenings right throughout the long, sunny summer holiday season! Christmas Downunder is unique and fabulous .... you can keep sludgy snow and bitterly cold nights shivering away inside when it's just too damn cold to venture outside on NYE.

    This is good and mostly true. Couple of suggestions. perhaps for the traveling mention how big Australia is. People overseas know Australia is large but in my experience they don't realize the Neighbouring town can still 15 minutes or more away or that traveling from one capital city to another can be at least a full day of driving (apparently you can have breakfast in London, lunch in Paris and then dinner again in London!). Also the temp. Perhaps add that we measure in C in F. I think 38 C is approx. 100 F. up to you. keep up with the good vids

    • @turnrightyesterday
      @turnrightyesterday  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for your comment apkriez! As you mentioned, most people do not realise how big Australia actually is. If you were to fit England into Australia, you would need about 58 Englands to completely fill Australia!
      I am pretty sure 25 degrees (C) is the same as 77F and 40 is the same as 104F. Don't quote me on it though :)
      Have a very merry Christmas!

      Australia changed from Imperial measurements (Fahrenheit) to the Metric (Celsius) system back in 1966. Just about the whole world uses the Celsius system except for three countries: Myanmar, Liberia and the United States.
