It's the same in Argentina, Christmas in summer is the best in the world, heat, pool, beach, party, alcohol, everything outdoors, long nights, friends, whole families together, lots of lots of food , few clothes, I always say that in Argentina we wouldn't have the same Christmas traditions as in the northern hemisphere but since it is summer we celebrate much more, we take more advantage of the occasion To share with our loved ones, I think we had a thousand times better than in the north😂🏖️🇦🇷

These days we take extinction of our wildlife more seriously. Like the Tassie devil. That creature is protected. Wish the same happened for the Tasmanian Tiger.

This was most definitely the last Thylacine in history, it died because of human neglect, locked out of its den on a freezing night, which sums up the way the Tasmanian people treated the whole species really! In one of the most insane human acts on record, a bounty was put on its head until it was hunted to extinction? Then, after it was extinct it was made a protected species, so stupid! Hang your heads in shame Tasmanian people!!!

I think spending Christmas in Australia would be awesome as I hate cold weather and like heat. December 21st-22nd to March 21st or 22nd is summer in the southern hemisphere. So, Christmas there does truly fall in the most wonderful time of the year.

They murdered poor Benjamin. Neglected him to death because if a useless hate for a species they thought killed cattle. They're beyond pathetic for torturing a species for simply trying to live. Very sad. I'm sorry the humans who stole you and your ancestors from the wild caged and tortured your species into extinction(or extremely close. I don't know if I dare hope some still live. If discovered, they'll become captured and used as testing subjects). His story is gut wrenching. As are so many throughout the world. Coyotes, wolves, dingos, whales, rhinos, elephants, tigers, lions etc. They'll all be gone one day because too many humans suck, and too few are able to help.

I really pray that scientists bring this animal back. It’s depressing to think that humans would wipe out this beautiful species. I feel so guilty about it. But I do believe that there are still some thylacines out there.
