I had to laugh when you said "that table will probably be there forever." I learned the hard way to CONTAIN MY EXCITEMENT and get my table in its near permanent place. It is so hard to delay the treasure hunt and get organized first. Invest in tables and racks on wheels. You can just keep pushing things out of your way. My racks store accordion style like is an old library.

You should put the disk cleaner in a sound insulated closet. Just build something around it with a door and then buy 5 layers of sound insulating foam.
