  • I wanted to make a video on the Indigenous people of Trinidad and found out that there are 3 kings struggling for power, all trying to become the grand chief of Trinidad and Tobago and decided to investigate it.
    The 3 chiefs:
    Eric Lewis (Moruga):
    princeofmor...
    Donna bermudez (San Fernando):
    / donna.bermudezbovell
    Ricardo bharath:
    / santarosafirstpeoplesc...
    Check out my friends' art:

It is truly important to recognize that we have an indigenous presence in Trinidad. Congratulations to the king 🤴

The First Peoples should be given more national recognition in this country. They are all part of the tapestry that make up this beautiful country.

My maternal grandmother was Carib. She spoke patois, Hindi, and Warahoon dialect. She died around 1996 at age 94.😢 She had 13 children. She lived in Cedros but her father was born in Venezuela.

Our indigenous peoples are sorely underrated in this country. They should be recognized in a prominent way.

I stand in agreement with you that the Indigenous community needs more visibility.
Look at how much work this young man is doing in Moruga for his people. I hope that the government gets involved to assist.

Very interesting Tilo. One of my grand mother's parents was Carib from the delta and my grand father was also from the delta. I know very little of these indigenous people's history and would like more content on this.

The throne belongs to the Grand Chief Eric Lewis, and the others need to start catching up. Eric has been doing the work for years and has kept the Indigenous heritage and culture alive throughout the forum of museums, school visits, and diplomatic relations.
Let the young man reign over his Realms.
Blessings Tilo for the work that you are doing.

Happens in all religious groups, There is the faction of Islam calling themself NureIslam in el cocorro trinidad they tries to destroy or control any new mosque that forms with in their district because religion is a way for communities to originize, whoever controls the most people within the community gets the government funding & contracts to help the community

You shown parts of your video that's of the Carib Kalinago stuff on your Instagram, the comments there was like oh stop with the nonsense and go back to your country please. Then on your TH-cam channel, most is like oh very interesting, thank you for sharing. But I like of the telling about the Caribs and stuff, because not everyone everywhere in the world knows about the Caribs and the Arawaks.
I'm part Carib Kalinago descent and learning bout the Caribs and Arawaks.

All the people of the American continents are indigenous. All people missclassified as "black" are Moors. The word American itself is a derivative of Morican, Amorican, Al Moroccan and Moor. Moreno and Morena in Spanish/Moorish Latin. America is two continents north, south and Central America including the adjoining islands and the people Americans or Moors for short. It's time to cut the crap. In 1621 the word Indian was substituted for Moorish. A so called west Indian is in fact a Moorish American. West= American and Indian = Moorish.
