@@jamesnelson1443 that’s tough, I have a few in this size I like a like, the Schwaz LT5, Reiff F5, WTG Red Wolf and Architect AK 5.5 they all have pros
It is a lot of money. I have the F6 as well. I too wasn’t too thrilled on the F4. That said some people really like it and I do know it’s a good knife. I’ll have a couple new Reiff knives coming in the future so stay tuned and thank you for watching
@@thelasthuntsmanoutdoors just got an Ursus Cub and tracking for my next Aquisition, camp knife. The Lost trail it’s in the cross hairs but I’m doing homework. On target & tracking!!!
@@masterofdisaster5007 well I highly suggest both of these but I will say the value with with the Lost Trail for sure and I think it’s a much slicier knife while the Reiff is more tanky
It is expensive and most knives of decent quality will last the rest of your life. It is a production knife with custom knife cost... Most people won't use an expensive knife they will end up using a different knife
Badger Claw makes a mighty fine set of leather pants for any size/type of blade. Great guy
@@kennithobrien8104 they do
Nice knife as she worked out well....Good stuff....
Thank you
I love that blade, and the sheath too.
I do too. It’s highly recommended
I'm wanting one of these myself!
It’s highly recommended
Love my Reiff’s! The F5 is my favorite.
@@JonJon-ey8ns it’s mine too
Diggin that leather sheath
Me too. It’s really nice
This knife is a lil tank that gets it done
Yup
Ioved the vid as always. I have te f6 love it had the f4 did not like it. Want the f5 but always out of stock. Hope they are not in trouble
@@johnheller5786 they are just a small company with small batches is all. I wasn’t too much of a fan of the f4 either
Hi, how about a head to head, Reiff F5 vs SCHWARZ Lost Trail 5??
Like both, or if you could only pick one which is your pick??

Great vid as usual
I have the f6 and f4
Love f6 not so much f4 I love 5 inch blades just don't know if worth shelling out the money over an inch

How does the Demko compare? About $150 less.
@@imgadgetmanjim both a good knives, this is a great knife with much nicer fit/finish etc
@@thelasthuntsmanoutdoors Thank you. Both seem pretty hard to find anywhere. Is the Reiff thick behind the edge or slicy?
@@imgadgetmanjim I’d say in the middle. A pretty decent balance which for a harder use camp knife is what you’d want.
@@thelasthuntsmanoutdoors You are tempting me 🙂. And it doesn’t take much. 🔪Thank you.
Just curious why you said they are made in Idaho? Their main facility is in Dallas Texas I thought?
No they are based out of Idaho
Do you like this or the f6 better?
@@coreyeason6841 both are nice but I do like this having a higher grind
@ that’s good to hear!! I’m torn between the magnacut f6 or This in 3v
@ both would be good.
How about comparing it to the Lost Trail 5?
I will do
The comparison will be interesting, I like the lost trail in design and price. The F5 it’s a little expensive.
