I was actually there physically in person. Although I missed songs like "Ghostdancing" and "Once upon A Time" it still was a great concert. God bless Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill . the Eighties belonged to Simple Minds And INXS...
Aaaah!!! All I really need on wednesday is "Belfast Child"... but performing the past forty years... ... I think I´ll stand in awe right now - prior to being precent in two days :) See you all in 2030 as well :) Thank you.... fans, and Simple Minds. None goes without the other!!
Great selection of songs, good sound and tight well rehearsed band. Go and see them if You have the opportunity. I saw the band in 1982 in Stockholm, back then more synt-extreeme performance in black and white (for those bauhaus fans out there). Now in 2020 better sound and fine tuned performance, less pretentious, just lovely.
I saw them in Malmoe.First row,and wow...I got goosebumps.What a tight band,what a drummer.And the energy between the audience and band was fantastic,This is how music should be experienced.Last time I saw them was on Stockholms Stadium 1989.Can´t believe that I´ve not seen them since then.I visit alot of concerts.I hope there will be more concerts with them.
Was due to see them on 14th August, but that has now been put back to August 2021 due to the Corona virus. This does not seem to have the size of other shows they have done, with regard to the stage set and lights. The sound is excellent, but I prefer the 'bigger' shows.
@@kerrfal Thank you!! Honestly I am sick of the constant whining about Derek, Mick, and Mel. Yes, they were great but they're out. If ya don't like the current SM, don't listen to them. Pretty simple. I think the band is STILL fantastic. Jim still has a great voice, Charlie's still a guitar master, and I'm just happy they're still together and actively touring.

christina ryding ghost dancing is my fav song , carnt believe they won’t be playing it when I see them next year xxx

Im not a fan of cherise. Not for simple minds. Great drummer but not the solid heavy beat Mel gave them. Hope it gets better for Glasgow gig
