The way jewelry is sold in that mall is interesting to me. Many of the dealers are selling small amounts of assorted jewelry and their prices are pretty high. I am more used to a few dealers specializing in jewelry.

Just FYI, pressing pennies at exhibitions and fairs began in Chicago in 1893. (I was so curious, I had to look it up.)
The flattened penny was actually from the 1933 Chicago World's Fair "Century of Progress". My husband collects anything from that world's fair. :)
