James is the man! So glad he entered this year!
Watching James Deane driving for about 4 years now ( watching drift as a sport for about ~10 years, and watching formulad ~7years ). And i can say, that i have never seen anything like it. ( those transitions when chasing, is out of this space) . And allmost forgot, watching Piotr Wiecek ~3years, and i can say, that you will be surprised at the next events.

i never understood why they get their tires warm, isnt it better to keep them cold and less grip as possible. Cause with drift you dont really need any grip from the rear, so if they warm up the tyres doesnt that make it harder to break the front out

And actually, you need a lot of grip. How else would you catch up, make the trajectories etc?
eXozGaming theese cars are VERY high power from 400 hp to 1000hp and warm tyres are better for that cuz u can see some of em struggle warming em up at the start
Sorry i meant bring out the rear, the fronts need traction, but the rear wheels get overheaded almost after the first few seconds in a drift. Whats the point of heating them up?
