Soooo exciting to see them come out of those jelly eggs 😅,super adorable 😍 baby axolotl, how interesting is that they rarely move and judt move to eat😍😍💜💜💜💜
Oh that’s weird I hate hatching them I was so glad when the de~shelled shrimp became ready available. I usually just hatch them in a fish bowl with air stone but used a ziss blender this time. Maybe it’s the salt mix of air flow?
@@paulstingray i believe its the air flow, i removed the air stone and put the air hose in the corner instead of the middle.it seems better but will have to test it more. i use seawater as i live next to sunny coast beaches, have tried salt and had more die off than seawater.
@@paulstingray no extra salt. they work fine in the coke bottle same water. only this different was the air stone i can think of. it was the air stone included in the ziss box
Hey Paul, I have a crayfish that was supposed to be food for my turtle but was the only survivor. It has kept getting bigger to the point that I feel it will attack my turtle. Would you have a purpose for it except for feeding it to your fish since I have grown a small bond with it. It’s ok if you don’t want it. And if not could I just hold its claws and they will fall off and it won’t harm the crayfish and won’t try to attack my turtle? Thanks 🙏
so cute!!!

@its_elser interesting
I have the stone in the middle and all good. Possibly something with sea water. You’re not adding extra salt?

@its_elser interesting. They are not an ocean water shrimp. They raising the salt content and see what happens
Do the baby axolotls need or like light? I am setting them up a 30gal tank to hatch in and I want to make sure.
They don’t need light. The light is so you can check they are all eating etc.

I don’t feed crays/ live fish to my fish
I can re-home it for you
Just bring it to the shop Tuesday- Sunday 10am - 4pm ( closed Mondays)
THANKYOU, I will just have to double check with everyone when we are available to come to your store.
How much do chillers add to you electricity bill do you reckon mate?
It depends on how much it’s on obviously but they do cost a bit to run compared to a heater
@@paulstingray Just imagine running it in brissy so basically all year round
It’s not too bad in brissy, you’re really just aiming for about 18°C so for half the year it’s not on very often but in summer you definitely need it.
@@paulstingray Cheers paul!
