I loved How to Excavate a Heart and Written in the Stars. I've snagged a bunch of these across libby/hoopla/kindle unlimited, thanks. The most recent sapphic book i liked was "A Bánh Mì for Two," which was this really romantic and touching journey w grief and love intertwined with immigrant struggles and Vietnamese history... ❤ just gorgeous.
Written In the Stars was the first spicy sapphic book I'd ever read. Also, I am in the process of writing multiple sapphic Christmas books, but right now I'm trying to focus on one book in particular that has nothing to do with Christmas - a sapphic college roommate where one is a lesbian, and the other is a bigot. I finished the outline not too long ago! Also, I have Kiss Her Once For Me on my wish list and I plan to purchase it after Christmas!
I’ve been working on doing a series of sapphic holiday books and movies as a like 12 days of Christmas thing. How to excavate a heart was definitely on my favorites as well. I also really liked Make my Wish Come True by Alyson Derrick and Rachael Lippincott.
I have read 4.5 of these and this makes me feel good about my decision to not finish that .5 😅 Also if you haven't read it yet, in two years when you are ready for another Christmas book with fake dating I really enjoyed Set the Record Straight. Also I have really enjoyed most of Jacqueline Ramsden's books (KU for the win) and they have 3 Christmas centric books.
Yes, yeees. Love sapphic Christmas books! Of this list I have read 3, 2 I disliked and 1 I really liked. And another 1 I DNFt. We don't seem to have the same Christmas book tastes so maybe I should try the one you didn't like. 🤣 The book next on my christmas tbr this year is "Make her wish come true" by A.L Brooks. But is is fake dating ofc and I am also tired of it!
Thank you for reading this and reporting back in your Santa hat--delightful.
Just finished make the season bright and loved it 😭 it was a little convoluted and predictable but I love the characters Ashley Herring Blake writes
