I came across this article. I would like to share my opinion abt the two. I've been using OSB instead of ply for the past 18 years in Leeds converting loft/attic into dormers. OSB is preferred for main reasons. With humidity and snow ply has a tendency to detach sheet by sheet by swealing. Whether we use bitumen underlay n overlay torch-on green or rubberized glued rolls. We have never had that problem with OSB.
