The way I go about deciding what type beats I make is I usually make type beats artists that just dropped an album and I often get more views that way then with sticking to one artist. Like for example when yeat dropped his album this year, I was only dropping yeat type beats and my channel was growing a lot and I been using this same method and have been seeing a lot of growth.
@@heyfriz Fs! i was just adding in on the type beat advice, but for this too of course. I think a lot of people stress about blowing up, when they should be worried gaining diehard followers everyday.
I just came back to say Thankyou I started a fresh TH-cam channel Ben consistent for only like 3 days and I’ve already seen progress almost 100 views on my first video and I followed all these steps Preciate you bro
makes sense to stick to beats by the same artist but if you got some random collab stuff as an artist sometimes they the most creative and fun beats to work with so obviously keep consistent with your shit but if you got a interesting different song post your normal artist and that weird one the same day or something but i love the different innovative beats sometimes i be searching crazy collabs like kanye x lil darkie or something its always really fun to listen too. I dont know much about the algorithm but I just wanted to say a good few artists be searching for those weird collabs because people are always making there new niches and then try to describe it through 2 contrasting artists that mixed together sound like them. Good luck w yo shi
I have abandoned my channel for a long time and I screwed up my algorithm for uploading different styles, for example: "Drake X Ed Sheeran Type Beat" lol. I will try to revive this channel for 2 months, if there is no change I will start from scratch. Great video bro 🥷🏽⚡
also, if starting a new channel I also wouldn't go for mainstream type beats like drake type beats, because the algorithm isn't going to push your stuff until you have some sort of a following and you're able to appear on the first page of youtube when someone searches for it, I would go for more less mainstream rappers and more underground ones that a lot of people are recently searching for their type beats but there aren't that many big channels doing them - you will need to research this quite a bit to know which ones to go for, but basically you want to catch the recent trend and grow with it before you move onto drake type beats etc. it is also worth following album releases and making type beats when an artist releases an album and people listen to it, or even making a remake of the instrumental / beat to learn and to get people to click on you
dudes, just be creative. i started uploading 3 months ago, im flying right now, didnt upload 2 beats of the same genre. :) also, there is already a nice community there, if you are struggling join up and you will get some support! Love you all producer bros!!!
When you are just starting is it (like 0 subs 0 views) is it ok to not upload daily and still grow your channel? Also is uploading freestyle/hard fast rap trap type beats ok?
careful l putting tags and hashtags in your description because like you said it's against TH-cam's rules, however if you do I think the number is 3 or 5 you'll be ok and in that range will actually help push the video more than if you put say 11 or 17.
Hello thanks for the video and the great informations bro! Im planning to start a type beat channel, do you recommend using "drake type beat" or chose another less famous artist ?
So I just started a new channel but here’s the thing… I have been posting 7 days straight and only average around 30 list views. My old account I would get close to a thousand but the niche was all over the place. What do you suggest I do? Continue to post on my new channel daily are just put the all on my original channel but staying in one niche this time?
i get 40-80 views on my beats i feel like that’s dead but i have 400 subs & i just started posting consistently again. should i just restart the channel?
So should i post my best beats on yt or what? If i have a beat i know is good i kinda want it to be a paid one. Idk how to choose which ones to be free n which ones to tell
I really wanna get back with uploading Type Beats and take it more seriously. I started studying medicine but have been grinding locally, selling beats to local artists and getting sessions in and getting a bag. Yet I got like 90+ Beats sitting around and shii. I have been producing like almost only RnB and Afrobeats and I don't know how to get the niche down to be honest. Would you say uploading within the genre is niche enough but having different artists for the type beats? Or should I pick 1 RnB artist and 1 Afrobeat artist as Type Beat? Or should I really just decide on either one genre only?
you think i should make a new channel when im getting around 100 views after uploading everyday for like over 7 months even tho i have 200 subs or should i just stick with it (the channel is old af also)
you already know the vid gon be fire when it has like 1k views
That doesn’t make sense I’m sorry

Thank you, i like this video. what did you say about the email list for those who use free beats on betastars?
I read somewhere that if you put to many tags it will push your shit to the bottom not sure how true it is

Hey man can you make a video about how to grow as a rapper on TH-cam? It will be very helpful
thanks for the advice, it was legit
