Hi, can you tell me your variator setup and what mainjet you have and what exhaust. Thanks :)

Oh wow, was not expecting this question after 10 years. I know I had a Stage6 Pro Replica exhaust and some open air filter. In older replies I'm saying I was using 6.5g weights. No major changes to the clutch as I remember. On the jet my memory fails me though. Buy a kit of 10 or so and try your way to success, that's what I did. This got me a very slow and sluggish start but around 90-95 km/h on the dial.

@@Birken87 Okay, thank you for answering 😀 im just having trouble with my own jetforce i have the same exhaust same rollers and i had changed the torque spring in my clutch and i tried many jets but it gets me to around 55kmh. If you remember can you tell me did you change anything in the clutch ?

@@REVABBB To find the right jet you look at the color of the spark plug after running a bit, not the speedo. Do that and you will find a good fit. I'm not sure about the English names of the different springs in the clutch but I know I tried the (three small ones) medium springs in some kit I bought but didn't notice any large change. Don't remember if I changed back or not.
The one large spring which I guess you are talking about, I kept stock. You only need to have a stiffer one when you make more power, especially with a steep curve, which you don't have with this setup. Having it too strong will be contraproductive as it basically brakes the belt and the result is you will loose power and have to change the belt more often.
I assume you have taken out the restrictor of the variator? That locks it down to 55-60 otherwise.

@@Birken87 Thank you for the information. And yes the previous owner had taken off the restrictor in the variator so it shouldnt be restricting anything but i will try to change the big spring (torque spring) in the variator if it will help.

Hi, by the way did you have the standard carburettor or did you buy another one ?

Tjenare, jag hittar inte v-ringen på min jetforce 07... Har även letat efter v-bricka eller liknande men jag hittar inget.
    Har du nått tips?

Hello i have jetforce if i change only the variator will it have a good acceleration?

    • @Birken87

Short answer: Maybe. Longer answer: It depends on what variator you get, but if that is the only mod you are looking to do, it's a lot of money for little value. Play around with some lighter variator weights first. That will give you more bang for your bucks. Changing variator you might want to do after other things like exhaust etc.
