Inferior materials make it next to impossible to complete a quality van campervan build.....or as the locals like to call it......substandard materials 🫤
Ouch! Wood here at home has gone up, but at least it's still decent stuff. I remember our beds in Bangladesh in the late 50s being made of wooden posts with jute netting strung between them hammock-style. Add a coconut husk mattress for "comfort"! Sleeping on the floor would have been better, if you didn't mind the assorted bugs, snakes and other critters that thought humans made great companions and/or snacks🙄
🤣🤣🤣🤣 not a fan of the crawling things. I saw a bed here made of fishing string (heavy guage for sea fishing) but it looked like it would take me years to weave it like they did. Also they make hammocks from used sand bags..,the large ones that hold tons and are hoisted off semis to load and unload. They are very crafty people.
