Nelly Keremidchieva The toothpicks help keep the different "tiers" in place. Just cut between the fruit... We served this up for my husbands birthday, no problems! If you want smaller slices, just take out a few of the fruit on skewers first... but everyone always wants a nice bit piece of watermelon!
