AS a huge fan of the Black Legions, I support everything Departure Chandelier does. This record is a worthy successor to their previous work. Árstíðir Lífsins sounds amazing! Thanks for the recommendation. Cheers Kellan!
Was not familiar with Departure Chandelier but I heard this album when it came out in January and it's fantastic. One of my favorites I've heard so far this year.
Great review~~ I find my self often thinking of this album. It is my favourite out of the things I've heard this year! From the first time I heard Departure Chandelier I was pleasantly surprised to be much more into their music than I expected to be. Perhaps the added bonus of the anticipation of getting to see them in about a month helps!
Who are the members of Departure Chandelier exactly? According to Metal Archives it is the guy from Akitsa/label boss of Tour de Garde and Dominick Fernow of Prurient/Hospital Productions?
I like the Departure Chandelier, but didn't love it. 7/10. I was also disappointed by the fact there there are only 5 real songs in it. I might revisit this later in the year Still need to check the Árstíðir Lífsins out
I didn't spin the whole album yet, just enought to harvest samples for the review, but I did enjoy the stripped down underground vibe of it. Having said that, not sure how much I'd spin this. Gotta be in the mood. Thanks for watching!

Of the 2 releases, Árstíðir Lífsins kinda blew me away.
Excellent review. I've got this preordered as I love the previous work, but you schooled me on french history here
Together, with Kellen's guidance, MAYBE we can learn something. Haha
your channels is underrated af! ! ty
Glad you think so! Thanks for watching and spread the word!
That Hard as a Coffin Nail is a banger, that chorus gets stuck in my head.
Just think about "we Built this City" by Jefferson Starship... Problem solved ;) haha.

This is going to be yet another killer year for new metal releases. Thanks for watching!
