Nail polish remover comes basically in 2 forms, acetone and non-acetone. Acetone nail polish remover is the harshest and is prob what melted your plastic. Non-acetone removers use less aggressive solvents like ethyl acetate, isopropyl alcohol and propylene carbonate. That's most likely what you were using the first time. I never thought to try regular clear polish. Nice video.😀😀😀

I got ringside collectibles delivereing me a Drew mcintyre figure all the way to india wil black mole like mark on forehead..terrible after getting shipped so far..Mattel is that careless and so is ringside not doing quality check..Which matirial is best to use without damaging the figure ?acetone or isoporpyl alcohol or any other..please opine

I know this tip was from a few years ago but can you tell me what brand of clear nail polish remover you used/are using? The reason why a lot of nail polish remover will destroy the figures is because it's acetone and it's known to craze plastics. I'm surprised that this worked for you so would like to try this. I guess it uses a more diluted acetone or something. Thanks in advance.
