    Thank you, very helpful. I replaced the WiFi card using this guide with an AX200-based Mini-PCIe card I bought on AliExpress. Now I have 802.11ax WiFi in this old Laptop and excellent reception :-)
    (The card is called MPE-AX3000H, I guess they can't use AX200 in the name or Intel will sue them. But it's basically just an AX200 card in the correct form factor for older laptops with the right - slightly bigger - antenna connectors)

    Thanks for this. I'm not sure it's worth the trouble. I used to do this and this is about as bad as a design gets. Thanks for no annoying audio or yuch music!

    Note: acer e1-510 uses thermal pad, thermal paste does not have contact so use new thermal pads

    I HAVE A ACER E1510, BUT IT WONT TURN ON, HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF IT HAS A BAD MOTHERBORD ? OR AC Power Jack Cable Connector, THANK YOU

      Laptops are not meant to be upgraded the mother board is not good enough and if u upgrade the mother board the battery and charger will fail

      I will not to upgrade mother board. If processor isn't solder which mother board, can I install other processor witch equal socket? And if math board has equal size and voltage, changer and battery will fail to?

    Hi. I have a question. I am a user of Acer Aspire e1-510 but i forgot my BIOS passord and dont know how to reset. Can you please tell me how to reset? I asked my friend but he told me to remove the battery but i dont know where is the battery on motherboard.

    Hello,
    I have a Acer Aspire E1-510 laptop with windows 8.1 and a few days ago it went into sleep mode and now it will not come out of it. I have tried hitting every key and i get nothing... I have removed the battery and tried restarting it but the power come on and the screen stays blank... and after a few seconds it turns itself off and reboots. I pressed esc a few times and it will stay on but nothing happens. It just stays blank. Any Ideas on how to fix this???
