I really don't see weapon durability being a thing again in FE, this support is pretty much mocking how it's kind of ridiculous for a weapon to break after a couple of uses.
246Rennie I actually disagree. As long as they maintain a way to get every kind of breakable weapon in the game somehow again, I think durability is fine. It makes you manage your inventory a bit better. Plus, historically, swords did break on the battlefield seeing as how you’re constantly whacking it with all your strength against plate or mail or generally things that don’t get cut by swords at all. And it makes sense that bows delaminate or get their string cut with wear (although an actual bow would probably last more than 5-10 battles if the archer survived) or that tomes start wearing and having their spines unravel, etc.
That being said, I think games that have weapon durability should also downplay the importance of forging weapons together, whereas you may want to upplay that mechanic when weapon durability is not present. And consequently the level scaling should be steeped in the games that don’t have durability as opposed to the games that do have durability
Not a fan of the alternative (Silver weapons being radioactive and weakening their users) either. Honestly, as long as weapons can be more easily repaired (For a gold fee), forging shouldn't be too bad. Just gotta take care.

Actually, Weapon Durability has been a mainstay in the Fire Emblem series since Fire Emblem 1. There has been only 2 games that didn't have it: Fire Emblem Gaiden(And its remake) & Fire Emblem Fates.
