Every thing was going all fine and dandy until the dude cant hold it in his pant and decided to turn back and look at his wife - whose true face is a rotting corpse, filled with maggot and bug. Horrified by this, the god bolted straight to the entrance and hurled a big ass boulder, forever sealing Izanagi back inside the land of the dead. Desperate, heart broken and angry, Izanagi vow to take 100 lives each day for his betrayal and in response, the dude laughs and said: “If you take 100 lives each day, then I would just give birth to 1000 childs each day, filling the land with my offsprings, then you would never killing us off” thus effectively abandoned the poor Izanagi alone the dept of the underworld and went on about his godly days like there is nothing happened
