After a certain amount of time, nothing you do will help with FPS. It will always drop to 20 FPS.
This helped a fuck ton, cranking out now with a RX-580 like its butter! Thanks!
how much fps do you get?
Yeah also on a rx580 egpu on bootcamp. Getting around 30 FPS with serious FPS drops around a friendly base
Any advice for my problem? Game works well, but while driving I get lags for 0,5 to 1 sec and then I crash and die.
32GB RAM, i7 3.8Ghz, RTX3080
In arma tinkering with video settings I can get almost 80fps, solid 50s with near beautiful graphics with a radeon rx580... I can't do that in Reforger, solid 30ish at the most. Your video gave me some ideas tks.

I have huge FPS-drops when driving a vehicle and in combat or with many teammates around me, at high and low settings :( I will try your settings...

CPU issue
I'm running 6600k with a 1060 and 16 gig ram.... It's not bad

5:30 Those "waves" on objects when you move around like on the ramps in the distance are very distracting and can be confused for movement. Is there a setting to get rid of that issue? Have you considered making a new tutorial for the new updated version, BTW?
Thats called aliasing

rtx 4090 all max settings on 5120x1440 gives 60 fps

I’m running 4090 almost everything maxed at 4K 65-70 fps
I hope this helps, because ive been going through tutorials on how to dl mods, set up scenes, add bullsnap to maps and mods. Yeah none of that works.
Now in the game's tutorial getting 13FPS.
So i hope this helps otherwise steam is giving my ass a refund.

I went from 37 or 40 fps to steady 90 to 95 thanks a lot

yo does anyone have chrome people around and objects?
I don't know if it's a bug or whatever, since the game is in a very early stage of development, but every time I start the game it doesn't save any graphic parameters or mouse sensitivity or anything that I have configured before and I have to put everything back to my liking every time I want to play.
do you know how to fix it?
That is a known issue… it will be fixed eventually

I need help in discord when I stream a game and switch to the game it shows 'your screen has been paused'
thats only for you, anyone watching the stream sees the game, the system doesnt show it to you to save resources

If my monitor is 60hertz but my fps is 120 will i see a difference even if i cant push my monitor to 120???
it's just gonna be smooth, but you wont see the 120 fps.
Well, you will never see anything above 60 fps, but having a 120hertz+ monitor will pretty much make the image look clearer, especially when turning your camera. Your eyes however cannot perceive the difference between that framerate

Yes i had the same issue, go to the gameplay tab and turn "Use 2D Scopes" on. It helped me out a ton

this video put me from 30 fps to 65 70
Single player I can get 90 fps but online it just jumps from 50 to 20 fps. I'm not sure why. Even on a server with low ping it does it. I don't have a potato computer either. 32bd ddr4 ram, 5700xt and 5600x CPU.
Game is very bad optimized.

This is a CPU Problem more Player more CPU work.

@@user-wq2rq4nc1s I have an amd ryzen 7 5700g, gtx 1660 super and 16gb of ram. I don’t see how the cpu or ram can be lacking. Also before you point it out, yes I know the 5700g and I already checked if the apu’s gpu was being used. It wasn’t.

@@KingOfComedyXD there was no gpu usage from the game genius. If you want to be smart ass you’ll have to use your head. If you’re not being a smart ass though, task manager.
my rtx 3050ti in laptop cant run that arma :D arghh i get 99-100% gpu usage,good temps but artifacts on textures ;d soo i refund because dont want gpu died :D weird
heh, my brother have laptop with rtx 3050 ti too and he have 75+fps still... I dont understand it, I have desktop rtx 3050 -OC 8GB8 and cant run it :D I have only 45fps on medium settings :D :D So wtf? :D
6600k @4ghz and a GTX 1060 and I get 60fps, it's not bad

I have a 7900 XTX and get like 40-50 fps on 4K native Ultra. Is this normal for this game?
I'm running an i7 13700kf and 7900xt, i use native 3440x1440 back backed it off to 2560x1080 and get 150-200fps comfortably, 4k can be pretty demanding on the GPU and in most cases needs heavy upscaling mixed with rather low settings. I would suggest if you can handle it, run it at half native, 2k, and you'd probably see a pretty big increase.
There's normally no reason to run games at max settings, you get minimal increase in quality at the trade off for a massive loss of frames, mess around and see what looks bearable while getting a much smoother more playable frame rate. The conception of buying a 4090 and expecting 100s of frames at max settings at a stupid amount of pixels is a pipe dream, yes it's sad, they spent 3-4k on a beast of a GPU just for games to still be poorly optimized.
What about Xbox series s ?
That's why it's better to play the game on GeForce now lol
4090 and 13900ks. Arma is going to Arma 20fps
4070 ti and 14700kf. Mine does the same thing after a while and stays there. When that happens I’ll dashboard and relog. Suddenly everything is fine again and it stays that way for an hour or two. Temps are great when it gets that framey but gpu usage is through the roof. That’s what my monitoring overlays are telling me anyway.
