I’ve watched hundreds of videos for years trying to learn how to trade. This is the best one hands down. This guy doesn’t use crazy useless indicators, and that’s how it should be. It’s all about market psychology and big money, support and resistance and chart patterns are ALMOST all you need and RSI on the 4h+ charts also helps. It’s a little more work studying and editing the charts but it’s better than a 9-5 job.
And how much you make per month with this trading job? 5000 dollars at least? There is always some kind of risk of burning many trades and/or your whole account.

Another great clean clear video and great quality audio without shouting or umming and ahhhing. I could listen for an hours. Just one thing i didn’t agree with on Olivers strategy just from watching this video was the trade taken at point M around the 7:20 point in the video. His stop loss level ( although it worked ) was at a previous price support area AND very close to the 50ma which usually acts as support if the base is going to break higher around that time period. Anyway its great we all have our own ideas and ways of taking entries and exits. Thanks for posting and congrats on your 50th. Its great to see its been so successful.

Just look at the overall trend of a market, support and resistance clusters for entry and exits, manage your position size and don't trade equities that you wouldn't want to own longer term. Sell covered calls on the stock if you want some extra cash during the trade.

looks easy on hindshight on a chart like tesla..but on other many charts it will lead to multiple hit on stop loss...rather than working on daily charts and daily moving average ..weekly charts and weekly moving average seems a good idea

Trust me every broke/poor trader I know will put in the work (whatever that is) until their fingers break. If it would guarantee them success beyond the crap they've been experiencing.

I know this is late but you mentioned price broke the 20 Day EMA when it looks like it’s actually the 10 Day EMA for Point E. At Point F, you called the 20 Day EMA the 20 Week EMA. I’m not sure if this was a mistake or you were going through multiple charts.

Absolutely LOVE your channel! One note on the methodology....many novices watch something like this and start to see the same pattern everywhere. One has to be careful not to confuse the handle on a cup and handle with a market simply rolling over.....wait for the breakout.

Do you buy at the moment it breaks out? And when it gaps up.... how would you know it is going to remain as a green candle? What if it breaks out without any large volume?
@@FinancialWisdom I see.. because there were some stocks I saw breakout with low volume and continued to climb. And there are also those which breaks out but seems too way out. I think will have to wait till an opportunity to buy at the moving averages as a support with tight stop loss.

Oliver usually set his stops 1-3% and normally under the 10 EMA

Most of the chart patterns I saw in this video are Bump And Run Reversal patterns (BARR bottoms and tops) created by Thomas Bulkowski.
Yes there is a correlation, identifying them and managing them is often difficult for the new trader though.
