"WE COULDVE BEEN MASTER CHIEF AND CORTANA, RAVEN!!!"
Lol
Ayre pretends to be cortana when in reality she is flood
Wow. I was about to say that in this ending, Ayre is basically the clingy ex-gf who wants to get back with you and can't get over the fact that she got dumped. Especially the part where Ayre is all like..."Raven, why you leaving me? We had so much good times together. Look at the life that we could build together. Why you throwing it away, Raven?!"
@@thegoodwinI mean, we were trying to burn down an entire planet.
@@im50yearsoldNah, so what if coral means symbiosis? It'd ultimately be beneficial to all of humanity, or at least the AC pilots who are like us human mecha hybrid experiments. Not sure if regular humans can even interact with coral beings.
Ayre didn't want war, we forced her into it when we threatened to annihilate all of her kind.
The fact that regardless of position she still physically reaches out to you in some strain of hope is a simple detail that hits harder than her laser sword attacks.
Yeah, that shit was painful.
wdym
She is good at manipulating things.
@@Walamonga1313 Her hand reaching out to you before explosion at the end of the fight.
Emotional Damage has no ineffective range.
"I will hold nothing back!"
"AP at 50%"
Chills
If you get closer view on her when you kill her. You’ll see her reach out her hand for you. That made me feel things
For me it’s the “I realize what you are… the spark of war. The fires that haunt rubicon!” With the time slow from impacting her with an attack.
Hard fight made even harder by the fact that i couldn't see the screen through the tears.
10/10 hurt worse than Gwyn.
The music and boss entrance were downright masterful
One of the best boss fights, and EASILY one of the best endings Fromsoft has given us thus far
@@Gungrave123spoken like someone who didnt learn how to dodge the coral phantoms.
Now fr , which moves did you think were bullshit?
@@gaminggaming.6071eh idk about him but in AC most of the bosses move so quick or the camera sucks during them that I didn't really get to enjoy the fights, besides the ibis unit with red lasers. I was too focused on surviving or getting as much dmg as I can with a cheese build once I lost too much. This is different from older fantasy fromsoft games, where you actually had time to see the attack that was going to kill you
@@ReaperPLUR i didnt really feel that, unless i am not auto aiming its pretty manageable to follow any and all of them.
Which attacks did you feel were impossible to see? I recall the fastest boss being ibis and even that was manageable to see.
@@gaminggaming.6071 I was autoaiming my first playthrough before I saw a video that said that auto aiming is less accurate haha
@@ReaperPLUR my man ngl, considering how ayre is just constantly zooming at mach 3 constantly trying to slash at your back, its alright to miss some bullets if it means you dont have to flick your wrist into oblivion.
I’m glad the community deems this the “bad” ending, because god damn I did not feel like the good guy after this. (I did the Liberator ending first)
I am glad to get the Bad ending first so I can do the others next as a relief.
It felt like the good ending for me.
Me too. But man this ending was dope
It's the good ending. You sacrifice Rubicon to save all life in the universe. It's a bittersweet ending, but still the better of the two. Letting the coral live and threaten the entire universe because some waifu in your head said "trust me bro" is not a good ending. It's only "good" in the sense that it makes your feefees feel good.
@@Saru-yr3qkits really just a matter of choice of how many people you wanna die for a cause you believe in.
In Liberators we act as a hero of Rubicon and its people in the same time preserving Coral
In Fires of Raven we stomped out a potential existential threat to humanity as a whole
and in Alea Lacta Est, we cast the die and initiates an evolution that will change humanity but will also results in the deaths of untold many.
Honestly with the True ending a direct sequel is most certainly guaranteed.
This ending reminded me of Reaper Squad commander J’s quote from Armored Core:Verdict Day
“There is no place for me other than the battlefield. To live as I please, and die a senseless death. That is who I am. Not a mere man of flesh. War is part of my existence.”
He's a clone of Joshua O'Brien from AC4.
Here though isn't it the almost the same mission from ACFA lol where you kill half of humanity in the sky
This ending is going to hurt. I love Ayre.
But I need it for my NG+ so I can get all 3 endings.
I was horrified when I realized I was locked into this ending on my first playthrough. The only upside is I never have to go this route again.
I think this is the best ending to do first. The 2nd ending feels like it makes more sense with the alternative scenarios in NG+ and the additional understanding of everyone’s motivation from playing the first time.
I am glad I did this ending first to save the others for the next ones as a relief.
Wdym this is the good ending
I get why a lot of people don't trust her but she always got your back. She's the one hurt by your betrayal
2:44 that slowmow scene followed by Ayre’s voice. Gave me both tears and chills atu the same time. Absolute BALLER of the fight. And I haven’t even played the game!
Dude. Imma cry when I get this ending. 😢
I almost did with her last line, it fucking hurt. Getting that ending did not feel good whatsoever. Now.. I gotta kill Carla who I also like, but better than destroying and dooming an entire planet.
“Stand proud raven you are strong”
Raven: “nah I’d win”
"I haven't used this AC since the Heian Era"
That’s wild. I used the same build AND color except with two shotguns lol.
I didnt want to use two because I was obliterating everything in less than a few seconds so decided to use only one 😂
this shit made me cry.
when i heard Echoes of Coral i started bawling
By far the best ending. Walter was justified in his beliefs
nah this is 100% the bad ending. both of the other endings are significantly better outcomes. in this one you just destroy an entire planet because walter says so
@@littlesnowflakepunk855to save humanity from the coral you bastard!
Wdym? coral release is great, coral becomes the glue (or rather the knife) that separates human consciousness from the restrictions of the body and integrating it into the web of the machine network, free to explore the galaxy and become whatever they want to be, the reason why people were against it during the ending was because allmind was going to try and use it to control everyone, but with them dead everyone becomes free
@@littlesnowflakepunk855 Not just Walter. Thumb Dolmayan also knew it for the fact that Coral was dangerous
@@Ghaltouni i mean yeah. any alien life is dangerous. as alea iacta est demonstrates, though, coral is only dangerous when misused or misappropriated.
Could you post the build you used in the battle? Weapons + mech parts?
I'm out for the weekend. So I can just say off the top of my head. Can't remember their technical names
1) linear rifle. Best one which has 250 damage I think
2) long range shotgun
3) 3 stacks 10 missile launcher.
4) needle stun gun you get when fighting ice Worm

Don't forget the pulse pulse armor as protection, son.
god I wish she's stay this still for me, it's insane how zippy she is
You want to use your left hand and right hand guns to shoot till she uses like 3 to 4 dashes. Then hit her with something hard when she's out of gas for like 3 seconds.
@@Rubhen925 thanks much, I got her with a triple shotgun build after taking a break. Two of the big main hand ones and the shoulder laser heavy shotgun. It was rough, but we got it done

Yep, it's implied she kamikaze'd her way to the coral since she says that autopilot doesn't work anymore.

Coral is just deemed too dangerous to be left accessible. No matter the casualties the damage done to destroy the coral is the leser one between the two in the broad scheme of things. With this, the planet might be dead but at the same time the suffering and war are now over and will not cause any more pain for someone else out there.
Good ending imo
I think it's a bad ending cause essentially is lack of faith in the future and fear of change. When people first found tools it also lead to bloodier wars but look how far we've come after embracing it (kind of). Same here, if they dont fight over coral theyll fight over something else, coral just has the potential to elevate everything. The true ending has the best vibe imo.
I’m sure the person who started the Fires of Ibis thought the same thing.
@@Asab972the secret ending( refuse to call it true) spreads a highly explosives substance across the stars, that can practically nuke the universe. None of the tools that humanity has constructed come even remotely close to nuking the universe. humanity can manage being a threat to it self, it can not manage coral, there having faith in the future, then there's blindly walking off a cliff.
It's not like coral created human greed, all burning coral did was kill a planet that people fought over. The corps are going to fight over something else anyways
You ever notice how it didint fucking explode until we made it explode. It's like this naturaly occuring substance burns when somebody lights it on fire
How do you even get these
best fromsoftware bad ending final boss fight since emma and shura isshin from sekiro
Ez Claps fight no diff, glory to the emperor
Bro why she backflip and turn into an aeroplane
Yes, also nineball Seraph can also do that as well
The machine Ayre has is an IBIS series. A boss from Daemon X Machina has similar abilities minus the transformation between mech and aircraft.
Can someone explain what is happening to the Coral?
In this ending you eradicate all Coral. It leaves Rubicon eventually forgotten about as a dead rock.
If my understanding is correct, the coral also serves as a vessel for human consciousness or is host to an entirely new form of life; either way, burning Rubicon is effectively an act of genocide.
Burned up
Mannn😢

Worst. We destroyed a whole planet.

After the floating city is reactivated there are 2 paths that leads to different outcome, take on Carla (Walter will be the final boss) or take on the Corporation (Ayre will be the final boss) this video shows the latter choice.

Love how people are justifying genocide of an entire planet in the comments-
Leave it to gamers to somehow construe the games obvious pro change themes to mean that killing all of Rubicon and Coral is actually good.

@@mongedopantano6169 not what I said but all right. The institute was so afraid of coral release without knowing what it would actually do so instead of attempting to midigate risk they jumped straight to planetary genocide. I wont argue coral release is the "good" ending because we dont know what it actually does but justifying the fires of raven is weird.
The game EXPLICITLY says its a bad choice based off the ravings of a mad man that stripped a planet of its resources before killing millions if not billions. Whos to say coral wont survive or spread again who cares if it happens again just commit another genocide!!!!! TOTALLY THE GOOD ENDING!!!!!
It truly makes me sick. It honestly feels like a mass self report.
Istg the people justifying this ending are the same people who think Gwyn is a good guy.
It's justifiable when you look at the big picture.
For me, this is the bad ending. Instead of dealing with potential trouble, we just preventively burn the entire planet. To protect people from themselves, we destroy another civilization. The desperation heard in Ayres voice hits damn hard, when you realize she is literally fighting for her life and for lives of everything on the planet.
It's just 1 planet bro, if this is Warhammer it will be done with 1 button without a second thought
@@sahibmujabee1177 well, this is not Warhammer. And there is a reason it is called a fire that scorched the stars. It's not just one planet, it's an entire star system.
@@simonherrmann7307but well if you don't you will vurn The entire galaxy so it's trolley problem really
@@ID-su6cv true, but my argument stays the same. For me, the potential danger doesn’t justify the annihilation of self aware entities. It’s the same with RLF and father Dolmayan, who fanatically defend their planet, because they are too afraid of coral release. It reminds me of a film I saw many years ago, it’s called Ender’s Game.
@@simonherrmann7307 yeah. I guess it's just means in the end. It's just, overseers got easier route. "Destroy the coral we will be saved" that was the answer they got which begs me the question. Did Walter know Coral were Sentient.?
Best ending for me. Chatty and Carla > Ayre
I like Carla a lot too, was simpin' hard for her the whole game, but hated killing Ayre. She just wanted a mutual future for her kind and humans together, and we snuffed that dream out like the heartless bastards of war mercenaries are.
@@SeraphimxSins Well at that point we're not just a merc looking for money, it's a choice left for 621 to take the burden of Carla, Walter etc onto themselves - ironically, we stopped the war for good, instead of sparking it
@@SeraphimxSinsgood, her dreams was stupidity naive.
Agreed. I liked them way more than Ayee so the choice was a no brainer
Let's be honest... Carla too is just using you. The only reason she helps you is that Walter believes that you might be able to help them. And as soon as you turn your back on her, she immediately implies that you got paid by Arquebus. No empathy, not a single question why have we decided to go against her. She doesn't care. She cares about Chatty and her mission, not us. We're just one of her cards, just as she said.
Ayre is an absolute clown 🤣
2:19 - Ayre: "You and I...could have walked together."
😅, I can't believe she said this. She's like acting one of those clingy ex's wishing to come back to you and hold hands while walking down on the beach together. Ayre and Raven might as well "could have walked together" down the aisle during a wedding ceremony.
Tbf parting with ayre is a lot less like breaking up with your partner than it is deciding to commit genocide on your partner's race, breaking up by proxy
Oh yeah, and you're nuking her homeland too
@@peculiarcanine9443 , lol
Committing planetary genocide on everything she's ever known because of emotional attachment, spite against the corps and logic within the framework of a binary world view is plenty good reason to feel bitter and sad toward the one of the few people you are physically capable of having anything resembling a conversation with.
I love how people just called Ayre and Rusty a hypocrite for trying to stop you and Gaslight you instead of being understanding and accept your choice in Fires of Raven ending but blatanly ignore the fact that you're about to genocide their whole planet
It's actually fun to discuss the Endings but it gets pretty annoying when people ignore an obvios answer in planted across your face in favor of just dissing the character or ending
(I know you didn't mention Rusty anywhere in your comment but your comment remind me of someone crititizing Rusty for being againts you in one ending but helping you in another)
