    The Origin has served me well as an approach disc for forehand throws. Also great for putting when you’re a bit outside of circle 2.

      Definitely! I have messed around with it a little bit outside C2, and I can definitely see myself using it more with some practice.

    I find this is similar to my Mako3 and I think the Origin's profile (it's dome) makes it more glidey than the Mako3. In fact I'd say the Mako3 flies more like 5 4 0 0 instead of 5 5 0 0 (because it's so flat) and it looks like that Origin flies more like 5 5 0 0 or potentially even 5 6 0 0. You throw it effectively and it really seems to hold it's flight in the air quite well.

      Thank you! Funny enough, I have a Mako3 review coming out next week!

      @@GladiatorDiscGolf It's a great disc! If I'm down to 1 midrange in my bag, that's the one. I can anhyzer it and it doesn't fight too hard. I can hyzer it and it doesn't dump. I can throw flat and it stays straight. And I can juice it at a slight hyzer and it's still the farthest flying midrange I have. Not underrated, but it can't be overrated. It's that good.

      @@NickCarroll Nice! I have just two midranges in my bag. A Tour Series Wasp and a Lucid X Fuse... I feel that I can hit any line needed with those discs.

      @@NickCarroll this has been my experience as well. A buddy gave me one in exo soft, and it's the most reliable disc in my bag. Since, i grabbed three back ups, because i love this disc so much.

    Hyzer flip to turn over disc. However it glides for ever and never burns to a roller for me.

    Looks like and flies like a Super Stingray but without the sharp flashing.

      Yeah mine feels like a 5 5 -2.5. Not super beat in yet either. I bag it though

      The disc is definitely a bit more US than it’s numbers state. I’d agree with a -2 or -2.5. Still a great disc for all levels though!

    Way to understable

    • @GladiatorDiscGolf
      @GladiatorDiscGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This disc isn’t too understable! It will be for power players, but these players can also use it for hyzerflips. I definitely think it has a place in the bag for most players.

    I bag the Origin for straight tunnel shots, great disc, the plastic is like Lat 64 Opto plastic. If you want another midrange that will help your distance, pickup an RPM Piwakawaka in Cosmic or Atomic plastic. Speed rating is 5 but it's more like a 6 and you can probably squeeze out another 20' over the Origin due to the glide rating of 6. It also looks AWESOME 😁. Has a -1 turn rating and I'd say slightly more understable than the Origin. A "fast" Fuse IMO.
