😮Love the sound of the O-300 - raised in 172"s, my first ride in N7080A at eight months, then N3863R (in which my dad soloed, 1967)...... respect density altitudes and short strips- the 0-300 airplanes are tough and reliable but you can get in trouble overestimating them...a sound you never forget in one, right at liftoff when the wheel rumble stops, the prop snores, and you know you're flying.

Very cool. I used to own N5879A. They must have came off the assembly line the same day!

The runway from which you departed looked really narrow and almost circular ;))) Great video and flying.

Nice flight! I also fly a 1956 Cessna 172 and have looking for a good iPad 4 mini mount. Are you using a RAM model? Any complaints? I don't care for a yoke mount. Thanks for the videos!

The picture of the Spanaway airport on Google Earth as of 1-23-21 shows it completely torn up, and some of the hangars, too. What gives?

Fuck me i hate how the US does uncontrolled airfield traffic communications

Ahaha my god, really was expecting that comment to be buried and never found.Love your content, found your sky catcher video and then started watching all your other stuff, its amazing to see how you have changed
However, the way the communications are handled for uncontrolled airfields in the US seems so casual and un-coordinated it really scares me coming from the NZ System where there is a definitive structure to absoltley everything
