pretty sure there's going to be multiple endings, Zeal just made the NPC ending first. The escaped badge and Lucy's shadow are both awarded at the same time the same way. The description of Lucys Shadow specifies the ending encounter too meaning it's not the only final encounter.

One of the big things that makes pressures core design wayy better than doors is just how many room variants there are, not even considering easter egg rooms. It feels so much less repetetive to walk through like 30+ variants of rooms that vary from slightly diffetent to a completely different space compared the same 15 that look the exact same throughout a doofs run
when i told my freinds about pressure i called it a "doors like" not a "doors ripoff" as it felt very seperate to the game, but still had some minor simmilarities as in how the games function

Pressure is a good bowl. It carries out many different functions of other bowls. It’s a useful bowl inspired by its bowl ancestors. If only this bowl was weird and strict, it would be the perfect bowl.
I love how zeal lowkey just puts Doors on blast as a response to several topics and I'm here for it. He's not afraid to criticize the game in areas where he thinks it should be criticized, and this is feedback LSPLASH can put to making Doors better.
I can assure you there many long winded parts of the interview where he glazed it or criticised parts of it. I Just cut them because they were so long winded and would break the flow of the video.
This has been a thing with games forever. You don't really do it with most forms of art as it's not socially acceptable with most. With games for some reason, though, as long as you aren't trying to actually trick people that it's the game you are taking ideas from, people don't care at all. You can literally copy a game onto a different platform (for example, Cave Story on Roblox) and people will just think it's cool.
it's actually a ripoff of weird strict dad, the lights turn red at some points just like when the dad walks into the room, the monsters are obviously direct ripoffs (especially squiddles), Sebastian is basically xenobus, and you need to fix the generators just like in weird strict dad. Overall weird strict clone so I'm pressured to say that it's a 2/10

When did this become about it being a rip-off rather than inspiration? In the description, it LITTERALLY lists that it was inspired by MULTIPLE games. And Doors seems to be inspired by Spooky's Jumpscare mansion. Nothing would exist if we didn't get inspired by something else in terms of first place. It has a unique feel and I love the addition of underwater sections. Not to mention I keep finding more and more rooms I didn't see befoee.

I disagree with what you said on the ending honestly, apart from the text wall which i agree they should change for an actual cutscene, i think an ending where you actually get what you want is refreshing after most games with this kind of setting/tone end with you just dying or being stuck there forever. Other than this minor disagreement i found the video fantastic, awesome job man keep it up 👍
I fell like the ending should’ve been more. I’m not asking for like an Avengers Endgame cutscene where Weird Strict Dad saves you from the entities and destroyed Urbanshade, but I wish there was more too it. You just get your freedom, and that’s it. I get the main theme is that you’re expendable, so you don’t mean anything. But at least add multiple endings, as in this one you just leave and the plot of Sebastian trying to get the help from another rival company and Urbanshade’s weird and strict operations just kinda get ignored. An ending where you’re able to help Sebastian out, one where you become a monster, and many more will help add more variation, replay-ability, and help explore timelines where you actually DID something and not just walk away and leave. Because right now, all the cool lore is never acted upon, it’s just there in the background if you want to know it, it rarely affects gameplay and just explains why things happen.
You should really play a game called scotomaphobia, its more physiological horror than newer games relying on cheap jumpscares, and it works. The game is also highly based on puzzle gameplay instead of the weird strict dad hold e. The lore that you find on notes around the game also builds a really cool story. The game definetely deserves more recognition rather than the small die hard fans it currently has
@@ALuckyDimeits kinda hard to explain psychological horror but from what i remember it mostly relies on feelings of helplesness while seeing what people (story characters) before you were going through I'm not sure if thats what you wanted from this question but i'd recommend playing it and going through the first layer,its easy,short and gives you a vibe of what the game is going to be onward It's definetly not for everyone and it gets a lot harder at the second layer (i personally took hours to do all the puzzles in the second layer solo)
@ALuckyDime most of the game in the second part (underground) is based more off making you feel uneasy, you dont get jumpscared if you die, but being in the dark for too long makes your heart race when hands start appearing over your screen. If you fall down the game also gives a cutscene that doesn't have a jumpscare, but will 100% make you feel like ones coming, and just the atmosphere itself also adds onto this
i think the games death Animation is the best instead of having a big "YOU DIED" text Pressure actually just makes you teleport to the document room after dying with not stupid texts

Fun fact: The door numbers ARE a giveaway for Good People, but not in the way Doors does it. Every so often, the fake door numbers will let out sparks, signifying they're fake. There's also faint static bars that run over the fake numbers, so you can take a look at them closely and spot the fake immediately. The reason is because pA.I.nter is the one behind the fake door numbers, and he kind of did a sloppy job at hacking them. Of course, you're intended to hear the breathing, but those extra details are probably in place for people like me who can never seem to be able to hear it no matter what I do with my volume settings.

i definitely agree with your opinion on the ending. i LOVE pressure, and it is my favorite roblox game rn. basically everything is perfect but the ending really does just feel out of place and doesnt match the tone well. i think it'd be neat if, like you said, you hand over the crystal but then urbanshade tries to execute you to prevent you from telling anyone about what goes on there. that would be a rlly neat idea to make urbanshade seem more like an "evil" company too. i imagine for that there could be a lot of stuff that could happen after urbanshade tries to execute you. i imagine you could either escape and be forced to live within the facility to hide from them, or they do successfully execute you to tie in with the whole "expendable" idea. if you do escape, maybe you could end up teaming up with sebastian and the other entities to fight against urbanshade or something. im not like a genius at coming up with ideas so idk
I think an ending where you get executed would honestly be right in line with the ideas already presented. The game starts with the sentences "What crimes you were convicted of doesn't matter" and "Whether or not you were falsely convicted doesn't matter" and while most people think it's just the narration and the game saying that, the truth is that's the perspective of urbanshade. They don't use convicted criminals cause it's they think it's a just punishment, it's just an excuse to use these people as resources. Sebastian is hard proof of that, and ending with them executing you would show that even more.
The dev thought that getting double crossed would be super predictable. He's also said that one of the expendables getting the crystal is a really good outcome for Urbanshade, even if they keep their promises. Sending personnel would really take its toll and be a massive headache. Even if they know what they're doing and have a higher chance of succeeding, it would still essentially be using them as cannon fodder. That's why it's easier to bet on some expendable managing to weasel their way out of the crisis, because it's a calculated risk where they get to call the shots and will avoid putting their own lives on the line. I can definitely see both sides to this but with this info I do find the ending rational despite Urbanshade being Urbanshade.
@@chrisnewman543 Ok but they don't really have any REASON to keep their side of the bargain. Hell, it's not even that Urbanshade is at some great disadvantage by keeping you alive, it's just easier for them to kill you, the same way it was easier to not tell Sebastian about being exonerated, nor did they stop using him as a prisoner for free labor. Urbanshade sees all it's prisoners as tools to be used, so it seems strange that they'd bother to reward you rather than just tossing you away at the end of the game.
Regarding the ending ramble, I think the right course of action would be adding different variations of the ending based on actions you could do during the game. So you could have the normal ending, an ending where you escape with a rival company (like what Sebastian is trying to do), one where you would become a monster (as you suggested) and so on. It would add replayability to the game, even more so than adding new monsters and encounters during the 100 doors stretch. Though most endings would need to be either rare or complicated to get.

I would not say it has no creativity. It is basically harder than doors. They added pandemonium which is like a puzzle and they added pinkie which comes without the lights. Something not from doors
I think it DEFINETLY took inspiration from Doors, however there is a difference between using something as inspiration to make it better and making a cheap knock-off of something.
I think your takes on the ending were kinda meh, I think the ending sequence functions as a good climax to the action, and the relief of beating the game after getting back inside the facility carries with you on the short walk to the submarine. Games don't always need some twist ending, you did what you were told, and you got your stated rewards.
I love the variety of rooms in Pressure. No two runs are the same, even though there's a large amount of it that plays out in a set sequence (in the sense that Searchlights encounter, ridge, etc. are guaranteed in every run). I get a sense of curiosity to keep playing and find rooms I've never seen or heard of before. The amount of easter eggs is fun, too. Oh, and I love not getting penalised for opening drawers (fuck you Timmy).
Pressure truly is a great game when you really look into it. It isn't some insane hard horror game like the mimic you get bored of after five minutes because there's too many puzzles and repetitive jumpscares, no. Pressure takes horror in the way of anticipation, sometimes you'll be going through doors and realize you haven't gotten an angler in ten doors, and after that realization you'll be keeping an ear out waiting for any monsters. On top of this, winning over and over, personally, isn't as boring as any of your other general roblox horror games. This game has unpredictability, randomized rooms, and almost nothing is guaranteed so you never get bored and never know what to expect. Especially with the classified lore files you can find randomly, and I sure am a sucker for lore so this is a huge win for me. There's many secrets, badges, etc to be earned which I know isn't much, but does add a whole lot to the game. I could ramble on more, but I feel this is enough. See you at pandemonium door 30!
As a die-hard mimic fan, I can agree with you. Replaying book 2 chapter 2 and 3 nightmare mode to grind coins is a pain in the ass. All of the puzzles are actually quite easy (except for the chase sequences) and the jumpscares are pretty well made but make me want to rip out my eardrums. It’s a well-made game but needs some improvements.

Its an okay game, I guess, I think it would've been better if all the entities were weird and strict and if there were more doors and if you were alone the lightbulb would flicker and they should add an ending where you commit identity fraud and get RE:Infected by the mimic
About the ending. I feel like if their were a few different endings depending on how many crystals you collected. Like maybe at 3 you become an expendable agent. So an actual job and more then the bare minimum equipment but still expendable or something
9:49 you can also look at the signs, if you see sparks go out of the sign (with a sound) its fake, and a lesser known fact is that there are horizontal green lines that go from the top to the bottom of the sign if its fake.
Not to mention, if the angler goes through, the number actually changes to red text, which I find funny because I just imagine the monster behind it desperately wanting us to come in despite the angler sabotaging thier trap 😂
Having to jump into a void locker to avoid FROGGER of all things was actually horrifying. I started screaming to my friend on voice call to come get me (my adrenaline goes through the roof when I play this game) and having to immediately turn round and JUMP BACK IN AT LIKE 40 HEALTH - legitimately my favourite moment and yet the most stressful one that I have had thus far. My least favourite one has to be when I got in the locker far too early whilst in the ridge and it was fucking CHAINSMOKER 0/10 One time my friend got chomped by a wall dweller during a skill check right before Eyes In The Sky was *CHEFS KISS*
There's also a game, Regrevator, where in a Collab Sebastian Solace has his own shop. (Which I hope isn't limited!) Planning to play both if these games in 2025. (Like the story of Pressure is in 2025 lol) Since the day I discovered Sebastian (and th Game) by the "Sorry Gabriel I don't think you qualify as an emotion" video, I've been looking at the images and moments for quite some time! Previously thought Sebastian was a Reaper Leviathan due to one suggestion about a Subnautica swimming stream and I tryna look up, Sebastian was a nickname for a Reaper Leviathan. Glad I was proven otherwise. Also I seemingly got tears from his backstory, cuz 2013+, I was busy being a good kid with homework, school, drawings and occasional internet, where I was a fan of Angry Birds because of an adorable orange bird named Bubbles, and I couldn't do anything to stop bad luck and trauma that would befall Sebastian. BLAST MY EMPATHY! 😭 The game's cool. And there's the shopkeeper funky merman with a reptile?-fish face, three blue eyes, fin ears, an esca (that glowing thingy on his head, lure) and an EXTREMELY long tail (and small left side extra arm). From human to this is quite a change! Anyway sorry for long comment. And You know what that means!? *FISH!* 🐟
Tbh though the ending of the game is quite simple but it's realistic. These monsters, hadal blacksite just none of your business you just wanna get the job done and see the sun again. And to be fair, the badge after reaching the end is described "CompleteSearchlight Party *Ending*" or something along that line. There could be more endings in the future cause they could've just written the description "you've completed the game" Not complaining, just putting my opinion here. Oh boy, I hope this doesnt cause any arguments

One of the big things that makes pressures core design wayy better than doors is just how many room variants there are, not even considering easter egg rooms. It feels so much less repetetive to walk through like 30+ variants of rooms that vary from slightly diffetent to a completely different space compared the same 15 that look the exact same throughout a doofs run

This has been a thing with games forever. You don't really do it with most forms of art as it's not socially acceptable with most. With games for some reason, though, as long as you aren't trying to actually trick people that it's the game you are taking ideas from, people don't care at all. You can literally copy a game onto a different platform (for example, Cave Story on Roblox) and people will just think it's cool.

When did this become about it being a rip-off rather than inspiration? In the description, it LITTERALLY lists that it was inspired by MULTIPLE games. And Doors seems to be inspired by Spooky's Jumpscare mansion.
Nothing would exist if we didn't get inspired by something else in terms of first place.

I disagree with what you said on the ending honestly, apart from the text wall which i agree they should change for an actual cutscene, i think an ending where you actually get what you want is refreshing after most games with this kind of setting/tone end with you just dying or being stuck there forever. Other than this minor disagreement i found the video fantastic, awesome job man keep it up 👍
I fell like the ending should’ve been more. I’m not asking for like an Avengers Endgame cutscene where Weird Strict Dad saves you from the entities and destroyed Urbanshade, but I wish there was more too it. You just get your freedom, and that’s it. I get the main theme is that you’re expendable, so you don’t mean anything. But at least add multiple endings, as in this one you just leave and the plot of Sebastian trying to get the help from another rival company and Urbanshade’s weird and strict operations just kinda get ignored. An ending where you’re able to help Sebastian out, one where you become a monster, and many more will help add more variation, replay-ability, and help explore timelines where you actually DID something and not just walk away and leave. Because right now, all the cool lore is never acted upon, it’s just there in the background if you want to know it, it rarely affects gameplay and just explains why things happen.

You should really play a game called scotomaphobia, its more physiological horror than newer games relying on cheap jumpscares, and it works. The game is also highly based on puzzle gameplay instead of the weird strict dad hold e. The lore that you find on notes around the game also builds a really cool story. The game definetely deserves more recognition rather than the small die hard fans it currently has

I'm not sure if thats what you wanted from this question but i'd recommend playing it and going through the first layer,its easy,short and gives you a vibe of what the game is going to be onward
It's definetly not for everyone and it gets a lot harder at the second layer (i personally took hours to do all the puzzles in the second layer solo)
@ALuckyDime most of the game in the second part (underground) is based more off making you feel uneasy, you dont get jumpscared if you die, but being in the dark for too long makes your heart race when hands start appearing over your screen. If you fall down the game also gives a cutscene that doesn't have a jumpscare, but will 100% make you feel like ones coming, and just the atmosphere itself also adds onto this

Fun fact: The door numbers ARE a giveaway for Good People, but not in the way Doors does it.
Every so often, the fake door numbers will let out sparks, signifying they're fake. There's also faint static bars that run over the fake numbers, so you can take a look at them closely and spot the fake immediately.
The reason is because pA.I.nter is the one behind the fake door numbers, and he kind of did a sloppy job at hacking them.
Of course, you're intended to hear the breathing, but those extra details are probably in place for people like me who can never seem to be able to hear it no matter what I do with my volume settings.

i definitely agree with your opinion on the ending. i LOVE pressure, and it is my favorite roblox game rn. basically everything is perfect but the ending really does just feel out of place and doesnt match the tone well.
i think it'd be neat if, like you said, you hand over the crystal but then urbanshade tries to execute you to prevent you from telling anyone about what goes on there. that would be a rlly neat idea to make urbanshade seem more like an "evil" company too. i imagine for that there could be a lot of stuff that could happen after urbanshade tries to execute you. i imagine you could either escape and be forced to live within the facility to hide from them, or they do successfully execute you to tie in with the whole "expendable" idea. if you do escape, maybe you could end up teaming up with sebastian and the other entities to fight against urbanshade or something.

I think an ending where you get executed would honestly be right in line with the ideas already presented. The game starts with the sentences "What crimes you were convicted of doesn't matter" and "Whether or not you were falsely convicted doesn't matter" and while most people think it's just the narration and the game saying that, the truth is that's the perspective of urbanshade. They don't use convicted criminals cause it's they think it's a just punishment, it's just an excuse to use these people as resources. Sebastian is hard proof of that, and ending with them executing you would show that even more.
The dev thought that getting double crossed would be super predictable. He's also said that one of the expendables getting the crystal is a really good outcome for Urbanshade, even if they keep their promises. Sending personnel would really take its toll and be a massive headache. Even if they know what they're doing and have a higher chance of succeeding, it would still essentially be using them as cannon fodder. That's why it's easier to bet on some expendable managing to weasel their way out of the crisis, because it's a calculated risk where they get to call the shots and will avoid putting their own lives on the line. I can definitely see both sides to this but with this info I do find the ending rational despite Urbanshade being Urbanshade.

Hell, it's not even that Urbanshade is at some great disadvantage by keeping you alive, it's just easier for them to kill you, the same way it was easier to not tell Sebastian about being exonerated, nor did they stop using him as a prisoner for free labor. Urbanshade sees all it's prisoners as tools to be used, so it seems strange that they'd bother to reward you rather than just tossing you away at the end of the game.
Regarding the ending ramble, I think the right course of action would be adding different variations of the ending based on actions you could do during the game.
So you could have the normal ending, an ending where you escape with a rival company (like what Sebastian is trying to do), one where you would become a monster (as you suggested) and so on.
It would add replayability to the game, even more so than adding new monsters and encounters during the 100 doors stretch. Though most endings would need to be either rare or complicated to get.
People would eat up the multiple endings just like how they do with FNAF

I think it DEFINETLY took inspiration from Doors, however there is a difference between using something as inspiration to make it better and making a cheap knock-off of something.
I think your takes on the ending were kinda meh, I think the ending sequence functions as a good climax to the action, and the relief of beating the game after getting back inside the facility carries with you on the short walk to the submarine.
Games don't always need some twist ending, you did what you were told, and you got your stated rewards.
I love the variety of rooms in Pressure. No two runs are the same, even though there's a large amount of it that plays out in a set sequence (in the sense that Searchlights encounter, ridge, etc. are guaranteed in every run). I get a sense of curiosity to keep playing and find rooms I've never seen or heard of before. The amount of easter eggs is fun, too. Oh, and I love not getting penalised for opening drawers (fuck you Timmy).

Pressure truly is a great game when you really look into it. It isn't some insane hard horror game like the mimic you get bored of after five minutes because there's too many puzzles and repetitive jumpscares, no. Pressure takes horror in the way of anticipation, sometimes you'll be going through doors and realize you haven't gotten an angler in ten doors, and after that realization you'll be keeping an ear out waiting for any monsters. On top of this, winning over and over, personally, isn't as boring as any of your other general roblox horror games. This game has unpredictability, randomized rooms, and almost nothing is guaranteed so you never get bored and never know what to expect. Especially with the classified lore files you can find randomly, and I sure am a sucker for lore so this is a huge win for me. There's many secrets, badges, etc to be earned which I know isn't much, but does add a whole lot to the game. I could ramble on more, but I feel this is enough. See you at pandemonium door 30!
As a die-hard mimic fan, I can agree with you. Replaying book 2 chapter 2 and 3 nightmare mode to grind coins is a pain in the ass. All of the puzzles are actually quite easy (except for the chase sequences) and the jumpscares are pretty well made but make me want to rip out my eardrums. It’s a well-made game but needs some improvements.
I love the idea of implementing nightmares into horror games, it adds such a feeling of "reality"

About the ending. I feel like if their were a few different endings depending on how many crystals you collected. Like maybe at 3 you become an expendable agent. So an actual job and more then the bare minimum equipment but still expendable or something

Having to jump into a void locker to avoid FROGGER of all things was actually horrifying. I started screaming to my friend on voice call to come get me (my adrenaline goes through the roof when I play this game) and having to immediately turn round and JUMP BACK IN AT LIKE 40 HEALTH - legitimately my favourite moment and yet the most stressful one that I have had thus far.
My least favourite one has to be when I got in the locker far too early whilst in the ridge and it was fucking CHAINSMOKER 0/10

Previously thought Sebastian was a Reaper Leviathan due to one suggestion about a Subnautica swimming stream and I tryna look up, Sebastian was a nickname for a Reaper Leviathan.
Glad I was proven otherwise. Also I seemingly got tears from his backstory, cuz 2013+, I was busy being a good kid with homework, school, drawings and occasional internet, where I was a fan of Angry Birds because of an adorable orange bird named Bubbles, and I couldn't do anything to stop bad luck and trauma that would befall Sebastian. BLAST MY EMPATHY! 😭
The game's cool. And there's the shopkeeper funky merman with a reptile?-fish face, three blue eyes, fin ears, an esca (that glowing thingy on his head, lure) and an EXTREMELY long tail (and small left side extra arm). From human to this is quite a change!

Tbh though the ending of the game is quite simple but it's realistic. These monsters, hadal blacksite just none of your business you just wanna get the job done and see the sun again. And to be fair, the badge after reaching the end is described "CompleteSearchlight Party *Ending*" or something along that line. There could be more endings in the future cause they could've just written the description "you've completed the game"
Not complaining, just putting my opinion here. Oh boy, I hope this doesnt cause any arguments

searchlight encounters are mid, they would be better if it was a werid fish making you cook strict water
My favorite entitys are the Imaginary friend and the eyefestion i love both of them. The Imaginary friend her sound her voice sounds so calming
