I think the background using the Gelli plate was awesome, it’s harder to do in a journal than on paper you can manipulate. The limited colour palette was perfect and your girl with the silhouette on the other page made it kind of haunting, maybe the music gave me that feeling but, it is a beautiful spread! 💕🇨🇦

Thank you so much Sarah! I took lots of classes, and watched lots of videos. I just searched TH-cam for “How to draw faces for beginners” there are lots of videos. And really, it is all about practice. Get a cheap sketch book, and just start drawing along with the videos. If you are really serious about realistic drawing, there is a book by Andrew Loomis, How to draw the head and hands. It is a great book..

Hey Laura! Thanks for watching, glad you liked it. There are many videos using it as a stamp, the company that makes it put out a video with the cd case idea. The packing tape on magazine cut outs is fun!! I used krylon workable fixative. Hugs!
