I’ve filmed this before I left Paris ( I am in LA as I'm writing this) ) and now I finally got the chance to edit it for you. Thank you tons for your patience !
I’m not the kind of person that would wear a classic , black smokey eye. it just does not look good on me. So I do all kinds of variations of this great makeup style.
This is just one of the ways I like to wear the smokey eyes and I think it’s totally ok to wear it during the day. You do not need the exact same products I was using.
Here are some variations:
If you don’t have a cream eyeshadow use a neutral powder eyeshadow and apply it all over the eyelids. Then the shimmer eyeshadow can totally be made if you dampen your brush and then just grab some shimmery eyeshadow or even your favorite highlighter and apply it on the middle of your eyelids. Applying some shimmery eyeshadow on the middle of your eyelids will make your eye be not as dark will reflect the light and if you have small eyes like I do, or deep set eyes, it will just give the illusion of bigger brighter eyes.

I like your cat. Please demonstrate how to apply blush for someone who has an elongated face and not very pronounced cheek bones. Maybe blush is not a good idea for that type of structure. What do you think?

Andreea, this is such a crazy look.. There’s one doubt, though. And it isn’t related to the look you created but a part of one of your insta stories. Remember you said that whenever you go buy a foundation, you patch the one that you use and compare. But what if you don’t know how to buy a foundation for yourself. I want to know how do you buy a foundation for yourself. A shade lighter, darker (of course not) or a shade similar.. can you please do a video on the same? For a beginner may be?

Love this look! I've never smudged my liner before. Do you think I can still wear the shimmery look as I'm forty seven and have squishy eye lids (my daughter called them that lol).
Krimilda McKenzie Your comment put a huge smile on my face. I used to tell my mom that and she always smiled. You can still wear shimmer on eyelids but something a bit softer, but don’t think that when we get older we can’t use shimmer because that is not true.

Love the video Andreea as always but can you please pretty please crop it tighter/zoom in closer? We can barely see the makeup even if it’s already at 1080p and full brightness, it looks slightly fuzzy. :( it’s just such a waste to not be able to see the detail of what you do 💕

I needed a powder, in Romania we don't have Laura Mercier, you know, and I decided to buy Kat Von D powder. Andreea , why only apply make up primer on the center of the face? It’s for extending wear time of make-up in addition to reducing pores, right? I see this consistently on all tutorials. For instance, wouldn’t you want to ensure coverage of blemishes, eye make up, etc and use primer in those areas too? TY, just wanting to understand. You are my fav beauty influencer. I really like you. You are verry natural person and not full of yourself like a lot other makeup artists. I have been following you for a verry long time and i have learned almost everything about good make up looks and tips. The only negative thing that i could say is that the products that you use are verry expensive...or not even available ( Georgio Armani silk alluminous foundation) But i still keep following you and i always will.
