- Bafana Bafana became the latest team to upset the odds at this year's AFCON tournament, dumping out favourites Morocco 2-0. Evidence Makgopa opened the scoring, slotting under goalkeeper Bono. Achraf Hakimi missed a golden chance to equalise, smashing a late penalty against the bar, before South Africa midfielder Teboho Mokoena scored a stunning free kick to make the game safe.
