Arizona rancher murder trial jury still deliberating | Vargas Reports

The jury hearing the case of an Arizona rancher accused of killing a migrant has worked through two days of deliberation. NewsNation’s Ali Bradley tells “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” the panel was at an impasse, and the defense representing George Alan Kelly wanted the judge to issue impasse instructions. The prosecution objected, and the judge sided with the prosecutors, sending the jury went back to work for that last couple of hours before adjourning for the weekend. Kelly is accused of shooting toward a group of migrants who came onto his property near the Mexican border, killing one of them. Kelly contends he only fired warning shots into the air.
