Merlin Park University Hospital: New Orthopaedic Theatre Block Shortlisted for ACEI Awards

Varming Consulting Engineers Ltd. are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the 2023 Association of Consulting Engineers of Ireland “Mechanical & Electrical - Medium project” for the Merlin Park University Hospital: New Orthopaedic Theatre Block.
The project involved the fast-track design and construction of a new Orthopaedic Operating Theatre Block consisting of two state of the art Orthopaedic Theatres, with patient recovery bays, staff accommodation and ancillary spaces constructed over two levels with the health care function at ground floor level and plant space overhead.
The new block is located at the front of the existing Main Hospital Block with new site access routes and a ground floor link corridor to the main hospital block.
