The 71st Jaeger have moved around a fair bit. Prior to this latest deployment they were deployed at the Kremina sector. They've also been at Soledar and Robotyne during 2022-2023, but I don't think they were at Avdiivka.
Thanks for more interesting analysis. Just left ATP whose thesis is that opening the northern front is stretching the Russians as negatively as it does the Ukrainians. That sounds like a hopeful rationalization.
If nothing else, I see the opening of a northern front as useful since the Ukrainian defense is a patchwork of bits and bobs, with the best parts being battalions drawn from brigades engaged elsewhere. This would mean that this force largely has improvised HQ and logistics, since the bulk of these battalions’ brigades with their HQ and support troops are elsewhere.

They don’t update their maps for days, during ongoing offensives and when they do they claim Kiev is holding positions, that have been Geolocated as taken by Russia. They have almost no credibility at this point.
They are obviously partisan but it's still useful to see their confirmations of Russian gains.
@@fred4687 DeepState got significantly worse after UA MoD acquired them.
@@evilleader1991 True but previously when changes at the front were small, and frequently back and forth, that kind of delayed confirmation from pro Ukr sources was good. If the front gets bogged down again in areas they will still be a good reference.

I agree, that when a heavily biased source confirms an advance of their opponents it’s hard to deny.
But
When you’re doing an update video, on an area with rapid advances and you use a source that hasn’t updated in nearly 3 days, it’s not even an update. All this does is confirm advances from 3 days ago.

Theti Why do you have an Economist whose the defense minister a civil position Belousov is not a General. Gerimasov still leads the Army and was and is the bossman of Surovikin and Prigoshins you lack knowledge of Russian power structure military or otherwise. Russian elections require a replacement of defense ministers if an outgoing minister wants to retire please check yourself it will make things easier.
A minster is not a technical person he’s simply an administrative professional.
